The saga collection : R5-J2 ( Update with pics)

Well this is my first review about this feisty little droid :)              
Info

Model: Astromech Droid
Main selling feature: Cheap
Destroyed on: The second Death Star
Comments: The Empire toils to complete the second Death Star after the humiliating destruction of the first battle station by the ragtag Rebels. One of the droids on the station is R5-J2, who goes about his duties unaware that its service will be very short-lived.

Package includes

* R5-J2 ( Obvious)
* Antenna
* Figure stand ( ROTJ)
* Holograpic figure ( villian)

Lets start of with this guy !

Coloration

This guy just screams EMPIRE with his classy paint job . His main color is black very much black ! , he has some nice gold/Tan brown panneling on his body , feet and head . Some nice silver on his shoulders , legs , outlining his head and some panel lines . Also his foot 'tubes' are painted brightish silver

He also features some darker shiny blueish/grey for the photoreceptors , his neck , and the side slots on his dome .

Articulation

Pretty basic but... ah hell ! He's an astromech so

* 360' hip rotation
* 360 head rotation
* Swivel ankles

Features

This guy is pretty plain but he has some unique features ( well along with the other R5-D4 repaints )

When you spin his head his motivator pops up like he is short circuiting or something . This ofcourse is a remaining feature of Tsc R5-D4 where he shares his mold with :) , altough this guy didn't blow up in ROTJ he might would if he wasn't destroyed on death star II

Pro's

* One of the best astromech droid molds ever.
* Very orignial impressive paintjob.

Cons'

* The motivator doesn't really imply on the charachter .
* No little accesoires like a mouse droid or something i would like to see him with some computer terminals or something .

Verdict!

A very nice droid with a very vibrant color scheme ,  great mold and detail on this figure . Also recommended for people who have other versions of this mold , because of the awe inspiring color scheme . Not the most common droid but Ebay would be a good place to get one for a decent price

[9/10] Strongly recommended

excellent review jesse next time i would include some pics  but on the whole very thorough

Yeah its our drummers , he also had a normal drumkit but this is for bringin over to my place etc , It reminds me of one of those outdoor cooker things
