ebay and paypal problem
« on: September 14, 2011, 03:18:41 PM »
Hello guys

I wanna say a story:

I won a captain argyus figure on ebay. The sender sent me the figure but he forgot to put the street number with it. He claims it wasn't mentioned on ebay, but it was from in the beginning.
Now this package is probably lost and he don't wanna sent out another argyus until he has his other one back. I payed like 7 weeks ago. Now is my question:

Can i still get my money back from paypal and am i in my right??

Ty

Yepper, a seller gets a complete address from the buyer via the ebay services once an item payment is sent by the buyer.

If the fellow doesn't respond to a rationale query then you would have no choice but to initiate a paypal dispute for non reciept of item.

I believe that tamer and jay are both right.
If it has been too long for eBay to allow a dispute, I believe that the paypal site offers the same service.
Check to see if your addy is right in your paypal account.

well he wanted to send another argyus figure, so he said he wants to wait first that the 1st argyus arrives back at him and then send me another one.
In my opinion it was his fault:

My adress was mentioned on ebay, but if you have the collum where you have to typ the street name there are 2 collums and i typt my house number under the street. Befor he sent the figure i even asked him:

Did you got the money, then you may send the figure to:.......

And he responded 'yes i got the money'

And still forgot the house numbr. Is this my fault then??
