Folks, Pat and I are still waiting on the Hasbro Panel. Normally they send it to us by now, but as this is a new Con they might be working out some bugs. As soon as we get it, we will load it up on the new gallery and let you have at it. And issue dates will be included, if you can believe any of em. Like where in the heck is that Taun Taun Pack that was due out in September we saw at SDCC?

That Malgus looks great. I am an OT guy, but that one I will have. I do agree with Spooky though, there aren't many OT guys I will be getting, perhaps only the Hoth Luke and man I hope that is a prototype they improve. I am almost getting visions of POTF2 figures with that one.

I kind of agree too, most of the problem is I feel these have been done, Hoth Luke is a long time coming, but most of the OT Types really feel like "been there, done that"  Kind of feel the same about most of the Ep1 Stuff, but at least there is things like Ben Quad (sue me, I like Podracers), and reports say Maul might be improved (With ball joint elbows) which would make this a must have for me.

I think for me the biggest deflater was seeing all of those Episode I figures with the same sculpts and bodies they used back in 99 and AFs have come so far since then.

Malgus' sculpt looks pretty spot on to me, but man, do I hope that paint job is a beta version! Looks like he's got two insanely big port-wine stains below his eyes  :o To quote Dooku: "Surely you can do better than that," Hasbro ;)

The cloaks isn't to my liking either. I'd rather see they went Sithfire's way with making a softgoods cloak and a plastic, removable hood. And while they're at it, add 7 additional head sculpts  ;D

I've been browsing through some coverages of NYCC and man, do I like Jedi Luke and Skiff Lando! Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like Hasbro's finally got their Jedi Luke right :)

The naboo fighter looks pretty good. Now where is that re-release of the royal starship?

Looks at our last Q and A, they keep saying they aren't re-releasing it, but what about that Droid Battlepack for it? Makes one wonder I will say.

Well as we have learned in the past, when hasbro says no, it actually means yes. I thought the same thing when I seen that droid pack, buddy.

Well, Hoth Luke and the Imp Navy Officer look good, they will be great as army builders and custom fodder. The Anakin doesn't look half bad either, probably a good base figure for a Starkiller custom.

We have the high rez presentation images now up live in our gallery. I must say the Hoth Luke looks better to me now than it did.

I think Hasbro's NYCC presentation was all-around exciting. 8)

The only thing PT that got my attention was Maul, that is once it was discovered he WILL have ball joint arms.  That and Ben Quad cause as goofy as the podracers are I kind of dig them, on a silly level anyway.

But I agree, not much OT there.  ALthough it is nice to see Hoth Luke, now if only something would show up at the stores.
