So I'm bored at work; it's been a slow couple of days, so I decided to throw together a magazine mock-up.  Since I'm a huge gaming nerd, (I teach video game design for a living,) I decided to make the magazine about retro gaming.
Here's the cover/inside cover and contents page so far!  (The Mario illustration is courtesy of Splashed-Ink on Deviantart.)

 

(The D&D ad was a REEEEEEALLY old piece I created when I was a student.  It's a convenient enough placeholder!)

Here's the full magazine!  This is version 1.5, so there's still quite a bit of work to be done on it.

To be honest, I didn't actually research to see if a magazine by that name existed already; I was simply making it so I wouldn't get rusty.  Thanks for the information, though!  I'll definitely check them out to see what sort of content they have in their issues.
