This is an awesome dio!!!, the downed atrt its a really nice touch!

Damien.
Thanks! I spent longer than i'd care to admit figuring out how to add the AT RT lol

I haven't looked at the dio pages much lately. Excellent work.

Well i'm glad you decided to take a look!! :)

I love it!!!
Thanks!!

Great work BJ, especially the different shades and the blast craters came out great!
Thanks Incom!! Those blast craters were really fun, only downside is they made a HUGE mess when I was digging out styrofoam lol

This is stunning!  The attention to detail is outstanding!  More, please!
Glad ya like it!! Since i've decided that this is just to big to be practical, i've decided i'm going to start making mini dios with Micro Machine figures... I actually plan on taking incom's idea and use photoframes to make it. Sorry Incom lol

Styrofoam can indeed be quite messy to work with. Plus, those little styrofoam flakes stick to your entire body  ;D

I made my Wolverine base out of styrofoam pieces as well and have used a lighter to shape them. A lot cleaner method and you can roughen the surface a bit by just scraping with a srewdriver or something...

top notch, love it really great, the laser effects add so much detail and bring it to life.  like the fact that 1 laser went strait thru and coming out the clones back.

Just be careful when using a lighter or match near styrofoam. If won't burst into flames, but the flame will deform the styrofoam really fast. Just moving the flame really close past the styrofoam will already create some desired effects. Can get a bit smelly though, so make sure you vent the room sufficiently.
