Topic: Is this the new Disney Animated SW Series?

I am seeing this flying around Facebook Now. Evidently it originated from IMDB Message Boards from someone who is claiming to be a laid off Lucasfilm Employee. Evidently this was the synopsis for a new animated project that was being developed by David Filoni. How this could still be on the boards after the horrendous way TCW finished is beyond me, but here is what I was able to find:















The last time I checked 1313 was a video game that was just cancelled by Disney too, but this is sure fun to think about eh?

Hmmmm, some of it seems like it's in early development too, not polished in other words.  Might be something to it.

Well, from what I'm reading, 1313 is finished as far as LucasArts went.  But the speculation is that by putting a stranglehold on the license, competing game companies like BioWare or EA will work harder to produce a superior game.  It does make sense, from a financial and business sense.  So now we see what could be as far as a new animated series goes.  Not that there was anything wrong with Filoni's last endeavor, but perhaps that's the same mentality they're holding out for for this new concept. 

Or perhaps, it's the internet and photoshop can be all kinds of fun. 

Guess time will tell!

It sure does sound like this could be a decent transition that would give us some old and some newer SW Characters. Let the speculation begin!

The fact that they might actually come up with something cool like this...is too good to be true. Probably just a cruel internet hoax. Until I see some actual product from Disney I don't believe I can believe anything I read online or in the news.

This sounds really, really cool.  But I'm with Mungo on this: I'll believe it when Disney makes it official. 

The basis for the plot sounds good though: droid uprising?  Interesting.  Mysterious Mando?  Awesome.  The "Shade"?  Anyone else thinking Luke gone AWOL? 

I guess we'll see...

Interesting if its real. Not the direction I would have expected and I do like surprises.

For me it would work. I like the thought of interspersing the OT with something new. So Luke could be outside the law a bit again? Love it.
