Topic: TRU exclusive Dagger Squadron B-Wing

Opened this one last Friday after picking it up at clearance for $25

This B-wing commemorates the ships used in the story "Small Victories" from the Star WArs Revellion comic series.

The ship is a repaint of the POTJ? B-wing released several years ago with some notable exceptions.
The cannons on the ends of the moving wings are now interchangable with included alternate cannons that fire missles and look nice and mean. The gyro-stabalized rotating cockpit now includes more interior detail than I remember in the form of some control levers glued to the top of the dash area and two swinging control arms that are easily held by the pilot. As before, there is a pair of retractable landing gear that are controlled by a slide switch on the bottom of the craft. The ship also comes with a decal sheet containing multiple labels so you can customize your fighter to be one of the 4 fighters of Dagger Squadron.

The exclusive Lieutenant Pollard pilot figure is nicely detailed and super arty. He comes with a blaster and a removable helmet. I wish that they would have painted the visor  of the helmet a different color but that's not much to complain about for a cool figure that you  can't get anywhere else.

I love the ship and will display it proudly in my collection.

I really like this one.  I have the POTJ one as well, but this one stands out for me.  On a side note, I saw these at TRU on clearance for $24.99

I looked at one (of four) Wednesday afternoon and yeah - stunning cockpit detail!  And a nice pilot fig to mod all over the place.

Excellent review, I still have mine, but am contemplating selling it, but with these going for what they are I may hold onto it a bit long as it is the only B-Wing I have. One can only hope that they will give the OTC guys some love and rerlease this in original battle damaged paint jobs!

Very nice, and a great deal. The pilot fig looks the same as the green one out in the pilot pack with maybe a different head. Removable Helmet?
I have been collecting SW figures and other stuff for years and I always wanted one of these, and now they are looking even better. Can you believea year ago I didn't ever want to collect the ships because they were too big once you got about 5 or more together? now i have more than that opened. My nearest TRU is in Topeka KS which happens to be my monthly drill site, so it works out well enough for my monthly window shopping session. 
Only real problem is the time of day i get there. late afternoon or early evening to late evening. They had lots of these earlier in the year, but not too many lately, and prices have always been high.
If I go alone i might could get it, but ussually go with the kids and wife before or aftter dinner and with their stuff we buy there, the wife dont like me to get anything "big".... POO DOO...
Maybe i can get lucky early next month...

I loved the Story Arc that featured this version and was glad they made it into reality I managed to get 4 so I have the entire Dagger Squadron just hoping hasbro makes the pilots someday.
