RULES FOR POSTING A COMPETITION
Firstly the Staff at Imperial Shipyards would like to thank everyone who takes part and posts on this lively forum. We all share the same passion and it really shows through in your enthusiasm. We are also constantly amazed at all of the wonderful creations that a competition produces.
As our motto suggests, We Strive to Excel, and part of this philosophy is to ensure that everyone gets the most they can out of being a member here. To this end we do sometimes have to bring in some structure to what goes on, otherwise things will descend into Chaos.
Believe us when we say that we are the last people on the Earth who want to impose rules, but due to the growing number of members we have to act responsibly in order to give us all a worthwhile experience. To this end we have tried to keep things as simple and straightforward as possible.
SUBMISSION OF A NEW COMPETITION
If members wish to start their own contests they must contact Tamer, Phatty, Clonehead or Reconsgt with a proposal for a competition.
Competitions are subject to approval prior to posting on this forum. Once approved, schedule details any changes will be discussed with the member.
PRIZES.
If prizes are offered we would ask that members consider the following:
Prize winners may be minors. Small, loose or sharp parts may be a danger.
Toxic materials. Again the recipient of the prize may be a child, or someone who owns pets. Toxic materials may be a danger.
If you enter a competition you do so on the understanding that Imperial Shipyards cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused as a result of receipt of a prize offered by any members.
