Unreality's customs & models v2
« on: January 17, 2014, 04:38:46 PM »
So, it's been a while, but I thought I'd share this latest diorama I did using Revell's AT-TE and a lot of Micro Machine Stormtroopers (which I had to do a lot of conversion work on).

AT-TE Cargo version "Before the Attack"

More photos here: http://www.rebelscale.com/models/star-wars-dioramas/at-te-cargo-walker/

And a build log: http://www.rebelscale.com/models/build-logs/cargo-walker/

Enjoy

I can almost guaranty Tamer will have this on the front page on saturday. Not because  its a walker but because  its a very beautiful  piece of work.

Well if I hadn't had to spend the entire day at the car dealer that would have definitely been a reality, but don't think this work or art won't be sporting our front page tomorrow! Just awesome work here and good to see you back!

Thank you all for the comments. No worries about rushing the front page. It took me several months to do this, so I won't begrudge you a few days.  ;D

I am thinking that is a new site redesign. It looks great! Time to give this and your site a shout out. I so enjoy my action fleet collection. I so need to track down my three button at-at.

Thanks man. I appreciate it.

By the way, you labeled the figures as AF on the front page, but they're actually Micro Machines. Not a big deal, as I'm sure most fans of Galoob recognize the Stormies pretty well.

Best

WOW! Really awesome work! Love the step by step process at your site. I am amazed at the level of detail at such a small scale. Thanks for sharing.

Makes me want to get a few more model kits to work on... superb work.  I find myself torn sometimes between wanting to do static models like this or "play-able" versions of action fleet and figures.  When I see work like this, I realize that as an adult a finished static piece is sometimes more beautiful than a functioning toy ever will be!
