I got to watch this through a work party today and must say it was the best football film I have ever seen, even better than Rudy. It chronicles the story of Micheal Ouhres who basically was an African American teenager who was destitute and taken in my an affluent Southern White family. This kid couldn't even read, but was able to make it given the right type of support. If you can get through this movie tearless you are one cold person. If you have the chance over the holidays, go see it even if you don't like football. The best stories are usually true ones. This one is definitely inspiring.
