Action figure wargame, has anyone played one?

I keep hearing various things, like the star wars RPG can be used for a wargame, 40k inquisitor, same.


But I'm curious, has anyone played/seen a 1/18 scale wargame using action figures?

You'd think the clone wars stuff would be ideal.
