I love the weathering effect, it's the same method I used on my Big Falcon, but you seem to have taken things even further...the vehicle looks so realisitc, it looks like a movie prop.

Very well done so far...I'm excited to see how it turns out (I am a bit envious, I'd love to get my hand on one of those vehicles).

Looking great man! Watered down paint is how I weather most everything, then a light dry brush. Spud how do you weather stuff if you never watered down the paint?

honestly I've never tried to weather a large vehicle, just figures.  So all I've ever done is dry brushing.

I'm definately going to keep this method in mind though when I get around to painting my current jedi starfighter project!

It's time consuming though, especially if it is big. What not the Millennium Falcon. I'll update soon. Seem to have a problem with the hard to reach places.

And thanks again guys.

I use hangarbay's method. Got it right off his youtube video. Such a great tutorial on how to weather. Yours is looking real nice so far. Got anything planned for the interior? And for the hard to reach places, i just use a cotton tip and a finer brush. Hope it helps.

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

Looks awesome. Very time consuming and tedious... but it is a really great effect.
Never could find this big guy... at least not at an acceptable price for me....
but I did manage a pair of AT-AP's.... and one of them is just screaming for this treatment.
Look forward to seeing the finished product.
