Red_Two's customs
« on: August 31, 2009, 07:55:15 PM »
Hey everyone, figured I'd share my customs with you guys. The majority of my collection and customs are Action Fleets, sorry that it's not more then that. Anyway, have a look and tell me what you think:

Sandspeeder

Hobbie's Red 4 X-Wing

Baron Fel's TIE Interceptor

Royal Guard TIE Interceptor

TYE-Wing

Imperial Trooper Transport

Shadow AT-AT Walker

These are Power of the Force A-Wings, customized into Gold, Blue and Green Squadrons. I got the idea from X-Wing Alliance, my favorite computer game. Sadly I did sell these as they took up some space in my house and I just got tired of looking at them.

Enjoy guys!

Awsome stuff, Red_Two!! I used to paint up the titanium ships all of the time and the action fleet stuff is of a larger scale.
I just love that Tye wing. That one is front page bound.

Hey, good customs work is fun to see, regardless of the scale/medium.  I love the TYE-Wing!

YAY another action fleet customizer!  awesome!

I LOVE action fleet.  I used to get "forwards" on my allowance as a kid just to get them!  I had almost all of the otc collection...  they are sadly all in a box currently, except my prized few favorites.

come to think of it I don't think I've ever posted my af customs here.... i've got to check.

LOVE the imperial gaurd tie, I've done that one myself! lol.

the tie-wing is a perfect rendition of the classic ugly.

I like the look of the lambda/atat hybrid.  But I realy think it could use some wings to cover up the holes from the leg sockets.

A sand speeder has always been one of the few I realy WANT to do but havn't gotten the extra snowspeeder to do it.  I got so into figure customs now that i've abandoned trying to collect all the action fleets...

I've also had plans to do the blue mcquarrie concept a-wing in action fleet scale.

I've got a half finished a/f scale LAAT/d that I started and never finished too.  I need to revisit that thing...

man give us some more, I love action fleet!  ;D

Cool vehicles there!

Haha, I thought I recognized all those customs! You're GoldLeaderOne on youtube! I've been subscribed to you for a while, always love the videos. Great to see you in the shipyards! You should go check out my customs (http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=956.0) and tell me what you think! I love the Baron Fel Tie Fighter you did... not too complex of a repaint, but Fel is a pretty awesome character. I got the comic two-pack and gave mine a beard! Hopefully they'll re-release the 4" interceptor and I can give fel a proper ship, haha

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

@ Clonehead - Wow, thanks for putting me on the front page so quick. Much appreciated!

@ spudafett - You should post your AF customs, I'd love to see other AF customs. Yeah the Royal Guard TIE was simple, just a repaint. The TIE-Ugly, kinda disappointed with it, as I cut into the ship on the left hand side. I guess that can be "battle damage". As for the Imperial Trooper Transport, I'm still figuring out what to do with the bottom half, where the legs used to be. The custom actually helps me out too because I still have that compartment in the body, so that's where I keep all my extra Imperial mini-figs. Lastly, the Sandspeeder was my most worked on custom to date. Only downside is I didn't get the body color exactly like the Titanium version, but it does give off that "sandy" kind of effect.

@ XizorsVirago - Thanks, glad you enjoy my videos and keep following them. Jay (wraithnine here, who's actually rasputin37 on youtube) convinced me to join. For the Baron Fel Interceptor, I actually made a custom mini-fig of him as well. I used the George Lucas TIE Pilot because he has a beard as well, so it seemed fitting. I simply painted thin red stripes on his arms and legs. I actually feel at home here because none of my friends share this hobby, which sucks. Anyway, I shall check out your customs.

I do have more customs on the way. They are:

Action Fleets:

- Theron Nett's Red 10 X-Wing

- Hortan Salm's Y-Wing from the Battle of Endor (Gray Leader)

- Green Squadron Y-Wing

- Rebel Alliance Shuttle

- Rookie One's Blue 3 X-Wing (from Rebel Assault)

Titaniums:

- Blue Squadron Y-Wing

I'm not sure if my friend Jay (wraithnine) posted it, but he's in the process of making me an awesome Action fleet custom - the Dagger Squadron B-Wing.

Those customs should be here soon so keep an eye out guys!

I sold them off too a few years ago. I had almost all of them back then, even the TIE Defender and E-Wing. My friends were right, after a while I started missing them again, so I had to re-buy everything.   :(
