Google Sketchup
« on: April 30, 2011, 06:16:18 PM »
Has anyone used this program? I've been using it for a long time now; it's one of my favorite programs and it's the best possible option for making 3-D renderings on the computer without having to pay for a high-end product like Maya; in fact, Sketchup is completely free.

I've been tossing the idea of making a Sketchup graphic forum novel about Bel Terrick for a while now; here's a preview of an Imperial interrogation center I made this afternoon.
Has anyone else used Sketchup?  If so, tell us how you use it and maybe drop a couple of examples!

I have altered the action figure. Pray I don't alter it further.

Smeagol,

Unlike other forums, who title their forums "Photonovels", I felt that there are so many other ways to produce illustrated fiction, so I asked the 'powers that be' to change the name to Graphic Fiction. Your idea is precisely the reason why I requested a name change.

Personally I love exploring my own Star Wars fantasies, so you go right ahead as the graphics you've shown us so far just make me want to see more. I'm sure we'd all love to see what you come up with.
