I apologize if this has been posted already, but does anyone out there make canopies (cockpits) for Star Wars vehicles? I've seen repro missles, landing gear, accessories, weapons and body parts...but no canopies. Is it even possible due to them being clear? Any help would be appreciated. I was at a 'Con recently and the canopies were more expensive (4x as much!) as some of the ships themselves. As an examlpe: I paid $3 for a vintage Y-Wing core, and $12 for the canopy by itself.
I'd love to customize more vehicles, but it's hard to find canopies! I'd rather support a fellow customizer who can make the parts than pay a dealer. Thanks!
