Lostcauze501st Dioramas
« on: June 09, 2013, 04:15:07 PM »
I've wanted to make a diorama for a while now and decided to attempt it after watching an awesome youtube tutorial.

It was a fairly simple process and the tutorials do a great job of explaining everything.

Credit goes to Youtube user Lunkermouth

I am very pleased with the result and can't wait to try it again. Next time maybe on a bigger scale.

I made a couple of "rubble pieces" that aren't attached as well. Let me know what you guys think.

And a shot with a figure for scale.

Thanks for the comments everyone, and thanks for the front page nod Tamer.

I just got some snow effect that can be applied with a brush, so I'm going to make this a winter diorama.

Stay tuned for some updated pictures.

Thanks Willoughbian!

I used the rest of my foam sheet today to add on to the diorama.

I fit the two main pieces together and then used the rest to make some walls and rubble pieces.

Instead of gluing the walls onto the main piece I left them modular so they could be repositioned and to help with storage.

Here's a couple shots with some figures.
