Happy Memorial Day 2013

I wanted to take a small part of my holiday today to say thank you to all of our Armed Forces out there fighting for freedom in every corner of the world from every country. We must not forget their families too. And to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and their families a very sincere thank you and understand that we here at ISY will never forget this. Take some time today folks to remember the members of the Armed Forces who did not get the day off and will be striving to ensure we get future holidays.

totally agree Shawn ,spare a thought for your armed forces whatever country you are from as they standing between you and the forces of chaos.

On Memorial Day, pay a tribute to the sentinels of peace. Sing praises of the brave soldiers who marched forth on unfriendly terrain, come rain or snow, so that we could sleep peacefully knowing that our country is safe

Remember the brave soldiers who gave their lives
For our freedom,
God Bless them all these courageous
Men and women.

They fought on land,
Others at sea,
Sacrificing their lives for
You and me.

Schools and offices respect these heroes
From the past,
By flying our beautiful flag
At half-mast.

As you watch the parade and hear
The trumpets play,
Please think about what we celebrate on
Memorial Day.

Big thank you for the British and American forces that have given their lives for freedom against the evil of tyrants and terrorists past and present,and thank you to those actively fighting today against  those who seek to destroy our freedom and way of life.
RIP drummer Lee Rigby,cowardly murdered last week on the streets of London.

Amen to you all who have fallen,gone but not forgotten.
