Zed, I'll be first in line to get my copy when they hit the stands.  Your writing is excellent and I love the concept!

Been a very long time since I completed the last issue, I know.  Computer problems, some personal tragedy (I lost my dog of 14 years) and some personal upheavals have made updates pretty sparse on the old scale wars site.  But now the bumps have been gotten over and another issue is in the can.  Antron's master plan to snag alternate reality versons of Iron Man is in full swing and the heroes face one of their own in a larger (mostly) scale.  But a surprise guest star makes things very interesting.

In this issue:

Late night infomercials break into 1:18th town.

Hulk gets wussed.

The Iron Man army throws it's weight around.

Mistaken identity permeates the land.

And the ever popular much, much more.

Enjoy

In case no one has seen on the Scale Wars facebook page, At essence my whole computer had crashed completely.  The hard drive was unretreivable so the updates to SW have been on hold.

What exactly did I lose, Surprisingly not much.  I did lose the latest updates but everything else was backed up thanks to my paranoia.  At essence I am having to reshoot most of the next upcoming parts in order to get back on track.  That has proven a bit harder than I had anticipated but not terrible.  As for anything else, I did lose an article and a review for the new Superman figs (I'll spoil it for you, they suck, but not as bad as either GL or Batman figs from the past two years, they actually have an extra point of articulation LOL).

Anyway, I am up and running again with a new computer, but rebuilding everything is a bit daunting.  I am bogged down with my FINAL edit of my novel (Should be coming out soon, but the computer crash and a few other personal things have been delaying that, but this week should be very productive on all fronts).   But one great thing is I get to rearrange some stuff, I wanted a big event for the 1,000 update and then a big quest star in 1,001.  Problem was getting the "Guest" and it looks like the figure might arrive in perfect time and I can go with my original idea.  What is it?  Well that would be telling but I hope you will all enjoy it.

I just really wanted to let the sites that have supported me most over the crazy five or so years that yes, I am still around and yes scale wars is moving forward.  Delays happen but it eventually gets there if you have all notice LOL.

SO I will part for now with a reminder that the most up to date info is on the FB pages because it's easier to just post there, I also tend to post some funny pics and meme's to keep things alive (some of my creation, many not but fun all the same).  Links are below if you still haven't liked for some reason.

Thanks for hanging in there.

Glad to hear that you are still around. I am looking forward to seeing you review some of the new Black Series. The way some of the new 6inch ones seem to be looking from the online pics I have seen you may not be picking any up.

I kind of figured that would be your take on the new Man of Steel Figures too.

Thanks Tamer, I have decided to not redo the review for MOS because really it's just going to repeat what I said for GL and Batman figs.   Moving on to some more practical pursuits.

On the black series, I know I am picking up r2 and Vader, and probably fett, beyond that I am not sure but we'll see.

If they look as rough in the hand as some of the pics I have seen (like the pic Spooky just posted) it may not be many for me.

I only got Zod, and yes he's rough.  My daughter got me res supes for father's day (always rough when you try to act like you like something crappy LOL).  Compared with DCIH or the Microman Supermen (either the movie one or comic one) yes this is garbage.  I can get a joke or two out of him though.
