Got this guy in the mail a few days ago.
I'm not deep enough in the joe lore to know when this character was last produced but this version is pretty cool and comes with some decent pack-ins.
I do like the head sculpt and think he has a pretty distinguished look for his linage.
sculpting on figure, vest, and belt look great, especially the canteen and the knife on the back of his belt "which is not removable"
articulation:
ball jointed head
ball and swivel jointed shoulders, elbows, and ankles. ankles are the normal joint and not the ninja "rocker" ankles which I have decided I don't like anymore.
double jointed knees and the swivel jointed wrists with the extra joint at each like the clone wars figures used to have.
gear:
the roadblock machine gun with the much too short tripod, two belts of ammo, a shotgun, a hunting rifle with scope, a long high caliber pistol, a rehashed backpack that opens up. "was this a roc firefly item", the interesting hinged bear trap with a footpeg, and three Eskimo tools/weapons, I cant readily identify. "fishhook spear, skinning tool and I'm not sure about the third one."
Also included is a figure stand.
I like him. I'm not sure about any customs I would want to do that are wearing shorts but the packins are cool also.
