Topic: DL-18 Skiff Guard Blaster

Hi folks

here is my latest prop replica build, the DL-18 Blaster

It is based on a real RO72 airgun, which are hard to find nowadays.
I just browsed for parts in my workshop and made all parts as accurate as i could.
Nearly all parts are made of aluminum and steel, which adds a nice wheight to the blaster.
At the end i added a medium weathering with sandpaper,silver paint and a hammer

The wall mounted wooden box is painted in grey-aluminum with a heavy weathering and glued on resin detailing

What can I say, you are making museum quality prop replicas here. It is just a gorgeous display piece. Speaking of display I like that too. You really know how to show off your work. I can hear Lando shouting at Han right now. Off to share.

Sorry it's not a kit. The base gun is the real deal from the 80s and the scope and details are machined and cut out metal parts.
Maybe i will do a mold of my blaster and start a resin cast kit run
