Getting back into Star Wars collecting, so I thought I'd touch up some figures from my favorite, Rogue One

I was looking at the pictures you provided yesterday already, but didn't have the time to leave my thoughts: I find it truly awesome that you found a way back to the hobby! I now time, space and money can be very limited and the hobby becomes more and more expensive to a point where it's hardly affordable anymore.

Having said that I'm thankful that those 5POA figures were available for a fair price back in 2016. The Star Wars fever caught me back in 2005 when basic figures were $5.63 at Walmart. And I'm glad that Hasbro managed to offer figures at a lower price again when Rogue One and the Sequels came out. It might speak for itself that there wasn't any merch for TROS, but that's a different topic.

Every day am I happy that those 5POA figures belong to the past now, even though some came well sculpted. But super-articulation is what got me into action figures.
Still I got a few of those over the years and I have much respect for people like you who can paint faces that well!
If I was starting to paint faces, I'd take a 5POA figure. Chirrut is one of my favorite characters of Rogue One so I had to get the 2-Pack with Baze.

Your repaints for Jyn and Chirrut are day and night and really show how good Hasbro's sculpts actually are. I think you nailed Chirrut's skin color and both are a wast improvement.
Cudos to you & thank you so much for sharing your customs with us on here!

Best wishes from Germany!

It's amazing how well a repaint can fix a figure.
