RCWCreations customs figures
« on: March 15, 2016, 01:57:28 PM »
I've been playing an awful lot (too much if you ask my wife) of The Old Republic, which is the inspiration for my current diorama.  I've also been buying (what little there are) of Old Republic figures, I decided to take my customising to next level and increase my Old Republic cast of figures.

I thought the place to start was designing and creating my character from the game.  May I introduce Kyle Randor, I hope you like him!

Just a brief update, I am working on my next custom, since I have a spare body and head from my last custom.  For those Shipyarder's who play The Old Republic, I have created my character from the game, I am now using the left overs to create Doc.  As you can see the repaint is almost complete, he just needs a shave!

He got the shave he was so desperate for and his goatee applied!  Welcome Doc!

After taking a little time off, I wanted to show you guys some works in progress with my SWTOR customs.  After completing my Sith Temple, I took Tamer's suggestion to fill it with Sith.  I invested in some Apoxy sculpt and thought it was time to create some true blood Sith's.  They are not complete but you can see where I am going with this and for those who play SWTOR as a Jedi Sentinal, you (hopefully) will recognize one of the characters.

Sorry for the photo's being the wrong way round, there weren't like that on the pc lol.

I have yet to name, the other two right now.  I would welcome any suggestions and yes I have considered Darth Destro or Darth Stro.

I was wondering if anyone in the yards had any spare R2 legs?  I would like to make a T&-01 and hopefully (if I can get 4 legs) a T3-M4, I have hunted through ebay and cannot find any at a reasonable price.  Can any of you help?

Thanks

Richard

Thanks CloneTroopr, I love playing the game and have been hating the fact that produced figures are so few and really hard/expensive to come by!

Last night before heading out I added another layer of to all, thinking that they were finished until I looked at them this morning.  I really have to work on their eyes lol!  I had a slight accident with the hooded lord, while putting his cape on, it snapped one of this eyebrow tendrils, to be honest I kind of like that way, gives him a battle scar.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of Lord Scourge, Darth Stro (guess who's body was used lol) and my hooded Sith Lord.

I have included a special photo just for Tamer.  As requested, a Sith Temple filled with Sith lords, a bounty hunter and 2 HK-50's.

Enjoy

Richard

Really nice job on the pure-blood Sith. They are a brilliant addition to your temple. Excellent work!

Sorry I have not posted much recently, my wife is due to have an operation next week to have a tumour removed, so we have been getting ready for that.

I did manage to get the chance to add some finishing touches to my Sith pure bloods, adding a little gold really does pick up some feature.  I am starting to work on a Sergeant Rusk and a Republic trooper.  I'll post there development as soon as.

I love posting here and talking to fellow shipyarders about our work and I will keep posting and sharing here too.  I have put together a Facebook page as a portfolio of my work, it contains more detailed pictures of my builds and figures.  I get carried away with taking pictures of my stuff and didn't want to bore you guys to much lol.  If you would like to have a look, you will find it here: https://www.facebook.com/richardscreativeworkshop/.

I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks

Richard
