I have done some more work on my Ork, applying Agrax Earthshade over his skin, the layer of Warboss green and then edged with Skarsnik green and the same with his pet.  Leadbleacher on all his metallic surfaces, black and white checks on his gloves and warplock bronze in places around his clothing.

I also started 2 more Intercessors and a Space Marine Hero all in Smurf Ultramarine colours.  Using the painting process as I have used with the others, these three are almost in the same place as my others.

I think you are definitely getting better painting the faces. Neat trick with the black.

I am really liking that Orc. Off to share the latest.

Thanks Shawn.

Just a quick update, I've not had a lot of time recently because my wife thought it was a good idea to redecorate our front room before Christmas  ::)

Before I went to bed last night I stupidly sat down in front of these guys then I picked up a paint brush and turned to the Ork.  I gave the teeth of him and his creature a covering of Zandri dust, followed by a shade of Seraphim Sepia (who thinks up these names!!) and then a layer of Ushabti bone.

For his wrappings on his staff and gun I have used Mournfang brown as a base coat.

Please excuse the pictures it was very early this morning with really bad lighting.

With Brother Garus, I have used (so far) Averland Sunset as a base coat for his hair and shaded it with Seraphim Sepia, I'm going to see how that has worked when I get some more light on him lol.

I also started tweaking 3 other Intercessors, the bald headed one, I gave his helmet another coat of ceramic white along with his knee cap, when his helmet dried I shaded it with Agrax Earthshade and it's eyes another coat of Evil Sunz Scarlet.

The red helmet marine I shaded his helmet with Agrax Earthshade as well.  The knife bearing marine, I gave his eyes another coat of Evil Sunz Scarlet and his rifle a touch of leadbealcher.

Again, sorry about the pictures.

I was off for a couple of days last week and got some serious painting done, trying to finish a load of miniatures completed before Christmas.

With my Intercessors I completed the edging on them all using Calagar blue followed by Fensisian Grey, Armageddon dust on their stands with a coat of Agrax Earthshade and grass turfs supplied from Green Stuff.

A couple more pictures.

With my Marine hero I followed the recipe as the Intercessors, but with his stand I used Mechanicus Standard grey as the base and dry brushed Longbeard Grey over the stone, Rhinox brown for the mud with a touch of Agrax Earthshade.  All gold was with Retributor Armour, Agrax and then Necron Compound dry brushed over the top and the silver was done with Leadbelcher, null oil and then Necron Compound.

Completed the Terminator following the Ultramarine recipe
