Update

With T7-01 I am now in the process of applying a dark grey coating to him, leaving certain silver area's exposed.  I have noticed the silver base coat is giving the grey a metallic shine to it.

While his head was drying, I started to apply a first coat of paint to Kira, using (and I think because I'm colour blind (please someone tell me!)) a light brown on her armour pieces & gloves, light grey boots and her red for her hair.  I'm not sure whether the brown really works on her legs or would either a grey or gold would be better?  Being colour blind really sucks at times like these!

Then finally!

No SWTOR group would be complete without its very own HK droid.  I managed to get my hands on a cheap Build a Droid HK-50 and since I have recently acquired my own in the game, this one had to be done!

I have completely repainted him with a base coat of silver and dremmeled an alcove into his chest for his "arc reactor".

I hope you like them

Richard

I have finally finished off my HK-51 and T7-01 droids.

I am pleased with how T7 has turned out because I have built him from scratch and only used a pair of astromech legs.  If I was to do him again, I know what I would differently but I think he looks great, especially along side his master and his team.

HK-51 has been a simply repaint but still is awesome.

I hope you like them too.

Hi all

Last but not least I have finished Kira, she's had to borrow Bastilla Shan's lightsaber while I wait for my glass paints to arrive.  I have a spare double bladed sabre but it has red blades, not the perfect fit for a jedi lol.

Let me know what you think?

I've included a quick group photo of the Outsider and his crew.

Hope you enjoy them.

Kira looks great and you did a really nice job on T7. I really wish that Hasbro had done some more figures from the video and online games - there's a wealth of great characters and popular species that they could have provided.

After finishing my Jedi Ghosts project, its time to crack on with my next project a SWTOR custom Sith Trooper. A taken a 2008 Saga Legends Snow Trooper and disassembled him. I even cut away his helmet to build his helmet, thinking that I wouldn't need to use all of it.

I got some Greenstuff and built onto his torso armour, belt and adding extra armour to his legs.

His helmet, I have used more greenstuff but realized that I needed the part of the original helmet that I cut off. Covering the helmet in greenstuff, I stuck the helmet back together and then started to carve out the new helmet to resemble a Sith Trooper.

New boots and gauntlets need to be made next before piecing him back together.

I have loosely fitted him back together and realized a couple of things:
1) To make his belt fit, I will have to trim his armour down at the bottom or cut away the back of the belt and fit it on top of the armour.
2) I made his helmet too big! After all the time sculpting his helmet yesterday, I have built it for 6" figure. Now its cured, I might be able to trim/sand parts down. Or I have to bite the bullet and sculpt a new smaller helmet!

Last night was spent sanding and trimming round the troopers helmet but as you can see, I only managed to trim a little off the bottom to give it an angular look. I also trimmed the bottom of his waist and belt so I am able to fit him back together again. I still need to make his gauntlets and boots before applying any paint to him. I am still unsure about the helmet, do I stay with this or make a smaller one?

Nice to see your progress.

Not sure what to tell you about the helmet. Maybe get the armor on the body all done and see what you think?

Looking good.... the helmet might be a little big though.... Whats the green stuff? Is it like sculpey? And does it cure on its own or do you have to bake it?

My printer is down for a bit so i may try and do some figures while i am waiting for parts.
