I enjoy sewing, and I'm experimenting with adding soft goods to my customs, so I thought I'd share this robe tutorial! It's perfect for jedi and miscellaneous scum of the galaxy. I've attached my pattern, and I like to use old T shirt material for robes, since it's thin enough and a bit stretchy.
I am altering the action figure. Pray I do not alter it further.

Thank you for the tutorial, it was really easy to follow. I was just looking through your older customs and they are really good.

This is really one of my favorite figures that I’ve ever made. Unfortunately I don’t have any great pictures of it, but here it is.

I’ve decided to call him the Neimoidian “Sith Slayer”, and the skulls around his neck are meant to be trophies from the sith that he’s killed.

Recipe:
Head: Nute Gunray
Helmet/hat: TSC Boushh Leia
Torso + Arms: Kit Fisto (Jedi Master - Revenge Of The Sith Collection, 2005)
Legs: Indiana Jones
Hands: Darth Sidious (I can’t remember which one)
Skulls: fodder bin
Belt: part of the robe of a POTF Bib Fortuna and some velcro
Robe: Custom made out of an old T Shirt
Lightsaber:
-Blade: unknown blade (painted with translucent bronze acrylics)
-Hilt: sewing pin and random piece of fodder

I sanded down the head/neck quite a bit to get it to fit at the collar, and I drilled the neck so that it would fit on the neck peg.
I am altering the action figure. Pray I do not alter it further.

Very cool. I like the use of parts. It feels/looks it's stepped straight off a piece of concept art.
