Here is my entry for the IMPS AT-AT heavy door gunner contest. Pretty straightforward kitbash. I used an engineers head with the helmet covering from a ROTS clone trooper, Vintage Collection snowtrooper body, and a harness from a Destro figure. The gun is from an Iron Grenadier, while the base and power converter are from the fodder bin.

I love that gun, nice find!

I hope people haven't forgotten about this! It's been a long time but I'm looking forward to seeing all kinds of different takes.

About 80-percent done with my figure. Should post him by mid-week.

Hi All,

My entry will be a AT-AT Gunner - Battle for Jakku

I just started it this morning and the figure is 50% done, I need to add some more detail and then paint him and then make the base.

Looks great so far Ron. Off to share.

I am glad to see we get at least one more entry. I was thinking folks forgot about this one.

Cool, I like the soft goods mixed in there, brings out a dimension of realism, but isn't that a 6" figure? I apologize if I'm wrong, but the shoulder, and ankle joints don't look right for 3.75".

Dang nearly over already? Don't think I'll have time for this, got big projects leading to my 200th figure, and I'd like to get them all done by the end of July. Good luck to all who enter, and I look forward to seeing all the finished figures!

ugh, was going to enter but had issues getting some pieces from a seller so it looks like my 1/2 finished gunner will be sitting this one out.

Grats on the work guys they look amazing!

*UPDATE*

The day before the contest finishes I get a friend to deliver a rush package w/some parts for this I needed, so after hours of working on it today... here are some pics for my entry. (btw Tamer I don't remember how to make the picture previes small before clicking them and becoming bigger lol)

Figure is a Saga Legends Snowtrooper w/removable helmet.

Chest box is an extention cord plug in plastic prong-hole cover i slit the middle of and added greeblies and touch up with a pen to.

The white tubes from it leading to the back are clear tie-backs that was holding down a Legacy Dewback still in box that I had lying around.

The gun and swing arm are just a standard black series stormtrooper rifle but the "claw" and arm holding it is one of those gawd awful build-a-weapon pieces I cut and glued in a new formation with the gun in the prongs and a wire glued for feed-effect.

The helmet is an AT-AT driver w/a pair of wires in the back to link up to the "ears" and the box in the back is from the clonewars era clone pilot, the front emblem flap is also from the same clone wars pilot helm just cut and glued. Sadly due to the extreme rush of the helm work I only had time to print out a clear sticker for the helm art in as close as I could get it.. normally I'd have it measured and stuff the art was made by me using GIMP v2! cutting and pasting in a furious rush! hehe

Hey Tamer,
Any chance of extending the deadline for this contest til the end of July? I've got a custom Heavy gunner figure in the works but due to a family emergency that I've been working on for the past week I sure could use a few more days to finish my entry. If not, no problemo. Cool entries everyone!

Rezakai so glad to see you got your entry in in time. I think that looks so tough. Kind of reminds me of those heavy ALIENS Marine Gunners (guy and gal with the torso guns). So cool and off to share this as the final update for the contest!

Hey Tamer,
Any chance of extending the deadline for this contest til the end of July?

IABF, I am so sorry to hear about your family emergency, but in all fairness to the other contest entrants we will be sticking to the challenge guidelines as today is the last day to post your entry. Trust me I would love to see more entries as this character is near and dear to me,  but today is the last day to enter.
