What great idea! The figure turned out really well and the concept is excellent. I love the glossy look.

And yeah, I've popped in to look and comment some, but I haven't built since the spring - just waaaayyyy too much challenging stuff going on in this season. I've got a few WIPs that I might actually get to this week, we'll see.

Field commander came out great!  Blends seamlessly with "official" canon.

Whoa that Field Marshall is sweet. Such an easy an slick combo of parts. It's too bad when Hasbro "makes up" stuff they don't go in this direction and create/offer something that adds to wealth of the designs already available (black FO biker I'm looking at you)

I've been thinking about an Ultimate Darth Vader figure for a long time. I wanted a Vader figure for all occasions. I wanted him to be able to display standing or sitting or in his meditation chamber. My favorite DV figure is the TBS ROTS, however in order for him to sit well in the chamber I had to swap lower bodies with the TLC Vader, as it has swivel hips as opposed to the ball joints, also the knees bend farther. So to me that sacrifices some esthetics in the standing position. Also I had to give him interchangeable cod piece so he can sit properly.   I have interchangeable heads using magnets to hold them in place. The one head is the TBS ROTS the other is the TLC 2 peice removable helmet. Also I used the cape from the R1 basic Vader as I like the plastic cape as opposed to the fabric.  Not a bad night's work.

I hope in the future to give him an ANH and R1 options. Possibly some interchangeable hands as well.

This is a great build. I love the idea of one modifiable Vader (instead of fourteen options). He's looking good so far, and I particularly like the meditation chamber.

This is such a fantastic project, really like the idea! I looks like you created the ultimate Darth Vader figure in 3 3/4"! I also like the combination of soft goods and the vinyl cape!

We see figures with more accessories in Hasbro's 6" line and I really hope we'll see a playset similar to your idea some day...
The meditation chamber is very suitable as a playset/diorama part.

Yesterday, I wrote down some ideas of mine for upcoming products of the continuation of TVC.
If you got some wishes/suggestions, too, please share them in the comments below!

One of the best 3 3/4 Darth Vader figures I've seen so far.
That is a very good combination of different Vader parts.

Excellent work.

Agreed with everyone else, great work. Good point about the hips... as much as I like the ball hips on TBS Vader, it does make sitting a bit awkward. Good trade-off with the swivel hips, and he still looks good.
