I missed this as well. Great trooper.
Would you believe I haven’t seen the Mandalorian yet?
Thank you. I didn't watch until after the season finale, because I have one year free sub to dis+ so I can watch two seasons for free. I'm not a boba Fett fan or mandolorian guy, so I wasn't really enthusiastic, but they're pretty cool little stories. I especially like episode 4 sanctuary because it is based on Seven Samurai.  The finale was cool with all the Stormtroopers and stuff.

Okay so I got a package from Shapeways.  There aren't a whole lot of 3.75 stuff, but there are some. I got a Z-6 Rotary Cannon and Magmatrooper backpack and respirator.  Here's the link to the designer's 3.75 items.
  https://www.shapeways.com/shops/aldobme-s-shop?section=Star+Wars+3.75+scale&sort=
There are other sellers who make 3.75 items they are mostly WW2 weapons, notably, the MG34 and MG42 can be used as a highly detailed DLT-19.  https://www.shapeways.com/product/FKMWLXMNU/maschinengewehr-34-1-18-scale-passed?optionId=64186971

The Magmatrooper I painted the backpack and respirator black as they are printed translucent. I did have to add the tube connecting the respirator to the backpack, using a piece of headphone wire. Then I added the extra shin guards using greenstuff. Then weathered it.

The two heavy gunner Stormtroopers are just normal Stormtroopers. One with the 3D printed Rotary Cannon, the other is using the clone wars Reciprocating Quad Blaster Cannon. Maybe I'll paint some black or grey on them. Dunno.

Thank you Tamer, yeah I forgot all about Shapeways, but it's mostly 6" stuff, I wonder if they can scale it down. I have one more Stormtrooper for customizing, but I'm not sure what I want. I already have a decent Stormtrooper commander.

Glad to see you got yourself one of these Stormtroopers. Word on the street is they're making an OT version. They could re release these in every wave and it wouldn't be able to keep up with demand.

Wow, sorry for my late comment, JD! Your thread is burning hot as much as your Incinerator Trooper is spreading fire! Awesome paint work on him! I got two FO Flametroopers for £3 each just for the shape and accessories. Thought about making a Republic Specialist against  Biologcal Warfare of the Seperatists of one of them. Maybe the CIS created Corona as well...just kiddin’.

Really like your Heavy Stormtroopers, too! They look great all weathered and geared up with the latest custom weapons!
I’m quite happy that you’re back to Star Wars customizing after your Ninja break!

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Yeah, I am guessing six inch scale is just easier to print, cast, etc. and when it gets small you can get some issues as folks here have sure documented over the years. Still, with the way those printers are getting I can sure see them getting some 3.75" stuff here in a few years.

And yes, I finally got a RO Stormy. I can see why you like it and yes I would not be surprised to see a new carded version of this in the vintage line, if they ever decide to release any more waves (yes I am shaking my head).

Thank you DM! 5POA figures had decent accessories, I bought a bunch of them just for the weapons and things. Like R1 Lt. Selfa, has a cool screen accurate rocket launcher, and bodhi rook has that cable reel.

It totally makes sense for the CIS to use biological weapons against Clones, since the droids would be impervious to them. It would be cool to have like Eco warrior clones.  I was playing with the idea of GI Joe inspired Star Wars figures. Just haven't quite figured it out yet.

Yeah some of the little details might be too small for 3.75. the plastic they use is actually pretty strong, not  as brittle as resin. I was expecting to have powdered plastic by the time it got in my mailbox, but no broken parts, and I haven't broken anything yet. I used to buy teeny tiny ships from shapeways, like 1/2000 x-wings, those were too tiny.

As Tamer said, thanks for the links. I've never ordered anything from Shapeways, but I certainly like the Rotary gun and backpack/respirator. I might just take the plunge. I really like how your magmatrooper turned out. Hmmm...I wonder what a clone trooper Hazmat suit would like? Excellent and inspiring work.

I've been buying from Shapeways for several years now, mostly small scale ships. I haven't come across any problems yet.
I imagine a clone Eco warrior would have normal clone armor with a helmet similar to the clone training helmet, except hooked up to an oxygen tank or something. Or perhaps something like the imperial space trooper, but clone armor. The possibilities are endless.

I was able to get the TVC Death Star gunner finally. I was really impressed with it, so much I chopped it up into pieces. Muhahaha! Not really. I like it because it can be used as a base figure for any number of customs. At first I was going to make a TIE pilot, but then I thought we really need desperately a new scout trooper. I've been spoiled by the Rogue one Stormtrooper so much that all other troopers look inferior.

I cut the most of the armor plates off of the TBS Scout, except for the shoulder plates and helmet, they are from the 5poa mission scout. I still need to make the boots, cod piece and finish hollowing the back plate. He somehow looks tall, maybe I need to shorten the neck some more, because he's going to be even taller with scout boots.

Wow, that really looks great. Not too much left. Heck, it looks like you could just paint the boots white and call it good. Man I bet trimming that armor is tedious. Nice results though. Off to the front pages.

And yes I can see why you like the TVC RO Stormtrooper. That is one nice action figure.

Thank you Tamer. It wasn't difficult to slice out the armor plates as I initially thought. The plastic is really soft, so a really sharp blade made short work, then I did fine tuning using a drill bit as a round file. The chest plates however are much harder, so I needed to use the dremel.
I'm thinking about using white balloons for the cod piece and boot gaiters. Next time I go to Wally world I'll pick up some and see what I can do.

Thank you. Yeah I need an idea for another Stormtrooper variant in 3.75.
