Sigh.....

What I wouldn't give to see that much Star Wars in one place. I didn't see a store this good even at Disney.

I feel ya! The good news is that I think this is a good sign. Star Wars get more attention and priority in form of shelf space, again! And Andor is boosting this at the moment.

I hope you all had a good start into the new week, too!  :D

Store report: GameStop

Elbe Park, Dresden, Germany

Mon, Sep 26, 2022

I also went to Game Stop yesterday. They got new figures in, even though they put the last set of Gaming Greats on discount. It was nice to see a Dark Trooper in person for the first time. But the new retail price hits another record high!

Toy Hunt: Dresden - Prager Strasse

Dresden, Germany

Tue, Oct 18, 2022

Few new arrivals, prices are the same, almost zero product movements since July.

Galeria

This mall can be compared to Macy's or Harrods'. It's been a while since I had been there...

RETRO figures for 14.99€ each and 2 TBS Archive Tusken Raiders for 31.99€ each!

This 12" Galactic Action Mando figure is ??€ here instead of ??.99€. You'll see this exact same figure later at other retailers for 49.99-54.95€.

3.75" Batman goodness. Man, I miss Star Wars Battle Packs from Hasbro!

Okay, 69.99€ and on discount for 38.99€ at SmythsToys.

Some surprises expected me in the Jurassic World section.

This 3-Pack of Micro Machines is cheaper than on Amazon: 7.99€ instead of 9.99€. Those tiny vehicles are perfect for mini dioramas.

Out of the surprise box, there it is: Mattel's first repaint of the Brachiosaurus! New MRSP: 79.99€
And a cool playset, we've talked about in another thread already. 94.99€ here.

Müller

Jurassic World

The original release of the Brachiosaurus is still available here for 69.99€. The repainted one is 79.99€ now thanks to inflation and stuff.

STAR WARS

An advent calendar from Revell with 4 model kits.

Spielemax

Everything looked exactly the same since the last time I was there. Half a year ago? This store is close to the central station of Dresden, located in a basement, but pretty unknown.

T€DI

They have a 3-day-promotion with 30% discount on all products. I asked for HotWheels cars and they said they put them in the back because they're excluded from the discount.

Thanks for your reply, Tamer. I had an appointment this morning and had to interrupt working on this post. All the other pictures that I took yesterday will be added above within the next 30 minutes.

Store report: Smyths Toys Super Stores

Dresden, Germany

Tue, Oct 18, 2022

TBSA figures are back down to 24.90€ and some are even reduced to 19.90€.

It's been a while since I saw so much overstock!

HotWheels

LEGO

Two Lambos even cheaper than TK Maxx.

Store report: GameStop

Elbe Park, Dresden, Germany

Tue, Oct 18, 2022

Both medium-size vehicles were 14.99€ each.
Vader's TIE Advanced was 19.99€.

The Black Series

41.99€ for a Credit Collection figure...I think the Tusken Raider is still the best one of that wave.

I think I would faint dead away if I saw that many TVC Figures in a store. Wow that looks good.

What do you think of the Micro Galaxy Squadron? I almost bit on those. Just didn't have the space. They make a walker I am probably done though.

Well, I guess you'll faint in front of your own collection then :D
I love the new Micro Galaxy Squadron line! It fills the gap that Hasbro left behind with their lack of vehicles.
Kids sure love the variety of vehicles that were even never released before like Ventress' ship.
It's mind boggling that Hasbro neglected the vehicle line. At least we finally got Blue Leader's X-Wing and an all-new Speeder Bike after another decade. But in comparison to 2009, this lack of vehicles and ships makes me assume that Di$ney don't let them make vehicles anymore.

star wars clone wars -faint by Lunatico126

I'm tempted to buy those Micro Galaxy Squadron vehicles and I'm thankful they're widely available here in Germany. But I also lack of space and the MRSP just a little over what I'd be willing to pay. If the price is right, I might pick up a couple. But chances are rather low that I buy one, even though I'd like to support the line.
I just cannot collect everything and rather invest into a 3D printer.

Oh yeah, Blue Leader's X-Wing. One no one was able to find and is at least double the regular price now.
