I wondered if you were trying to get into that Ollie's deal that has some of the Snowspeeders. These three looks great.

Never even knew about the deal from Ollie's. Is it still going on?

I got a new shelf in my room and started placing some of my ships on them. The shelf was an old cabinet that had a ton of VCR's in it. I went through and got rid of our VCR's, and got the idea of unscrewing the doors off and keeping the main shelf instead. It's not the greatest right now, I'm trying to make it look a bit more presentable.

This ain't the final product, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I want to place where. As of now, this will do. The bottom shelf, where I have the most room, I'd like to place my pilot figures. I have 10 Star Wars figure stands for about 25 pilot figures. Once I get enough stands, I can start placing them on my shelf.

From top to bottom:
- Zev Senesca's Rogue 2 Snowspeeder and Dash Rendar's Outrider
- Titanium Ultra X-Wing Red 5, Snowspeeder, AT-AT Walker
- Titanium Ultra Slave I, TIE Fighter, Millennium Falcon
- Luke Skywalker's Snowspeeder (2010) and another 2010 Snowspeeder customized with the traditional red/orange markings (now using for Wedge Antilles and Wes Janson's Snowspeeder)

I managed to get all my pilots out today for a pilot collection update. This collection also includes pilots that were released with vehicles only. I set them up by ship, so A-wing pilots are together, B-wing pilots together, etc..

1st pic: whole collection
2nd pic:  A-wing and B-wing pilots
3rd pic:  X-wing pilots from Rogue Squadron

.. cont'd

4th pic: X-wing pilots
5th pic:  Y-wing pilots
6th pic:  Snowspeeder pilots from Rogue Squadron

In the X-wing pilots picture, there is a custom of Gavin Darklighter in the back. That should have been in the X-wing Rogue Squadron pilot picture.

Thanks Tamer. Its a mini acrylic display case, comes with a lock attached and 2 keys. I got this off ebay. Approximate Overall Dimensions: 10.25"W x 4.25"D x 18"H  and  Shelf space is approximately 4.5".  I wish the case was a bit bigger but overall I'm happy with it, and very glad to get my pilot figures out on display.

At first I thought I was going to have a lot of room, then I realized I might not. Luckily it all worked out, I had to squeeze in some of the pilots though. Not pictured is Dak Ralter (he is in the Snowspeeder, I do have The Black Series version displayed), my custom Bothan Y-wing pilot (in the Y-wing), Zev Senesca (in Snowspeeder, I have the single carded version displayed), and same goes for Keyan Farlander (in the B-wing).

I agree it would be great to have one of these that is a little larger. Still, its a great way to display loose figures.

I had a friend over today and we worked on one of my Action Fleet shelves. I thought we would have time for the other shelf but this one took a few hours. We had 1 big piece of plexiglass, we measured and cut off the pieces we didn't need. We cut it into 2 pieces, as I wanted it to open like a regular shelf. Having one big piece of plexiglass covering the shelf would be really awkward to open. Lastly we put some hinges in on the sides and some magnets on the inside at the top. We thought of putting a handle on or drilling out a small circle so it would be easier for me to open it. Instead we opted to have the plexiglass overlap just a bit at the top, allowing me to open it with ease and giving it some room at the bottom so it wouldn't drag on the floor.

After this was all done, I cleaned everything out and dusted. I cleaned the shelves, the ships, everything. I even used a few of those air dust cans. Finally I put everything back up, rearranged a bit and got my newly acquired Rebel Transport in.

Next to do is the Imperial shelf. Fun times! lol.

Great idea. I like it. I have to go share. I did something similar using tempered glass in my own man cave.
