Here's my no paint kit based figure.  It's literally a quick put together figure.  I saw the contest post on Facebook this morning, so I quickly slapped him together.

He's my version of a "what if Luke turned to the dark side".
Parts List:
Head- Luke
Upper body - GI Joe Snake Eyes
Legs - Marauder Task Force
Right should pad - Iron Man WarMachine
Belt - from an Acid Rain figure
Soft goods glue to inner belt
Light sabers from various Luke figures

This is my first entry in the custom Kitbash contest.  I haven't posted in quite a while!  This is supposed to be a Twi'lek spacer/ mercenary for hire.  I haven't thought of a name for her yet.

Head: Cesi Eirriss
Body: The Black Series Toryn Farr
Hands: Cato Parasitti
Pilot harness: fodder bin, from some x-wing pilot figure
Knives: How to Train Your Dragon figure (character unknown)

I found a balljoint in my fodder box that fit Cesi's head and glued that on the Toryn body with super glue.  The hands were boil-and-popped from cato onto Toryn's wrists.  The pilot harness is currently attatched with a clear rubberband because I want it to be removable.
I am altering the action figure. Pray I do not alter it further.

Entry # 2:
Dr. Eblin was a distinguished professor of archeology at the University of Coruscant who left the classroom for the field. A deceased friend left Eblin with a treasure trove of datapads listing lost civilization. Now he roams the Middle and Outer Rims looking for these lost societies. It's not without its danger: a deadly spider bit Eblin while on one dig. Without access to an immediate medical center, Eblin cut his arm off. A cybernetic arm now serves him.

Torso, arms and legs: Pax Bonkik
Head: Bespin guard from the 2010 Target three-pack
The robotic arm: GI Joe BAT figure accessory
Lower legs: Galactic Marine
Gunbelt: Endor Han Solo
Backpack and staff: TFA Rey
Hat: Tatooine Luke

The Jedi Exploration Corps, or ExplorCorps, was organized officially as the Archaeological and Research Division of the Service Corps, and was instrumental in the discovery of many of the galaxy's ancient, forgotten secrets as well as the mapping of several of the galaxy's hyperspace routes.

This Rodian explorer worked for ExplorCorps 1,000 years BBY.

Recipe:

Arms, torso: TPM Obi-Wan
Legs: Tatooine Luke
Head and hands: Pax Bonkik
Chest harness: Tartakovsky Obi Wan figure

When this contest is over, I'm going back and painting the neck joint to match the Rodian skin color.

One more entry and I will post it Sunday.

Great entries so far, everyone!  I am so glad that this challenge came along.  I've taken a long hiatus from customizing (more out of disappointment in the direction of the toyline than anything, though time has been a huge factor as well...) and this was the perfect push to dip my toes in again.  I finished three kitbashes for this one.
First up is a fairly basic one.  I see her as a slicer/spy for the rebels.  It uses the full body and head of a GI Joe "Shooter" figure with the vest from Jyn Erso black series, a wrist computer from the Toys R Us Thunderbirds toyline, and a gun from the Acid Rain line:

Next up is a member of Saw's partisans on Jedha.  She uses the full Jyn Erso black series body, head and hood from Marauder inc, cloth goods from Leia black series, straps/gear from Chirrut Imwe, and a rebel fleet trooper blaster.

And last is a fairly simple one.  I consider him to be a smuggler/information broker.  His full body is from a figure in the Lost Planet toyline, the scarf is Marauder Inc.  I am not sure which head this is - found it in my fodder bin.

I was hoping to finish a couple more figures, but I am happy as these are my first customs in a long, long time.

I really like that Shadows of the Empire Luke! I've been wanting to do the exact same figure for a while, but can't justify buying the figures again for just the parts.
