The Spectre would be the guy to ask about the Jurassic Park and World stuff. Trust me he would know!

Looks like there will be a second chance to get the formerly SDCC exclusive John Hammond figure thanks to Target!

I think Mattel do a great job with this line. Many reviews on YouTube say that they do better than Hasbro did - especially because Mattel do not use visible screws!
On the other hand, their dinosaurs don’t seem to be able to be disassembled, again. I’ve seen some great offers over the last week, but most were pick-up only. The sellers say they don’t have boxes big enough to ship them. Others sell their broken dinos, which broke as they tried to take them apart.
So I thought I ask the guru of all toy lines here in the forum. What is your experience with these?

I still hope I’ll get a loose Brachiosaurus for about 30€...

The seller wants 25€ for this giant, but broken T-Rex:

Sorry, I just now saw your post.

Sadly, I have found that the Mattel line is a one-time-only when it comes to assembly. They are made to be put together once and left that way.

I LOVE the line myself and have just about EVERYTHING save for a few repaints that I didn't bother picking up.

I NEED that multipack! It’d be so cool to have John next to the 1/18 scale dinosaurs. Thanks for letting us know about these wonderful news! I’ll buy the set right away. Is it supposed to hit shelves this Fall?

Thank you also for your reply! The assembly is easy, but forever. That’s a disadvantage regarding the size of some dinosaurs. I might buy that broken T-Rex, fix the leg, get it into one position, add some sculpting clay to the joints to then repaint it. :)

I love sharing news about cool new toys coning out :)

It's not out yet, but I do have the SDCC version of Hammond thanks to a friend on Facebook.

My understanding is that this will be a regular release, but I don't pay too much attention to the 6" lines so I could be mistaken.

For the Jurassic Park fans out there...

I didn't even know this one existed, but this was scheduled to be an SDCC Exclusive Dennis Nedry Convention Exclusive:

"Pre-sale starts Wednesday 6/24/20 at 9AM PT!

NOTE: This item was originally slated as a San Diego Comic-Con 2020 Exclusive for Mattel and Entertainment Earth. It will not include an SDCC@Home sticker, nor a Convention Exclusive sticker.

Capture an iconic moment in Jurassic Park with this exclusive action figure!

Features movie-true deco, film-accurate accessories, and deluxe detail.

Packaging lights up and speaks authentic Dennis Nedry dialog!

Measuring 3 3/4-inches tall, it captures the spirit of the franchise legacy.

Packaging is based on the Barbasol shaving can seen on-screen!

Mattel / Entertainment Earth Convention Exclusive! "Nedry! Nedry! We’ve got a Nedry figure here!" Based on the original Jurassic Park film, this Jurassic Park Barbasol Dennis Nedry Action Figure - 2020 Convention Exclusive is a must-have collectible for fans. In his splashy Hawaiian shirt and shorts, he measures about 3 3/4-inches tall and comes with film-accurate accessories that include the bag of money from Dodgson, a piece of pie, and the Barbasol can of embryos so you can reenact your favorite scenes. The 7 1/2-inch tall packaging is based on the Barbasol Beard Buster shaving can seen in the movie - it lights up and speaks authentic Dennis Nedry dialog! This exclusive figure is available for a limited time only, so grab yours before it goes extinct and you miss out. Colors and decorations may vary. Ages 8 and up.

This cool Nedry figure is hidden in a Barbasol can that holds him and serves as a display case. For extra fun, twist the base of the can package to trigger a dramatic light effect and reveal the figure! Press the top of the can to hear these iconic lines Nedry says in the movie:

"Ah, ah, ah! You didn’t say the magic word!"
"Dodgson! Dodgson! We’ve got Dodgson here!"
"Don’t get cheap on me, Dodgson."
"Ah, no wonder you’re extinct."
"I'm totally unappreciated in my time."

Relive the exciting big-screen action of Jurassic Park with this highly collectible Dennis Nedry figure! The fan-favorite villain and devious programmer is inspired by the scene when Nedry meets Dodgson for the cash-for-embryos deal in the original film. As Nedry enjoys a nice seaside breakfast, Dodgson shows up with a bag of money and the modified Barbasol can to hold the embryos.

We reserve the right to limit quantities ordered."

How cool is that?! MATTEL just sold me! It seems MATTEL understood so much what Hasbro used to know a decade ago. WOW! Such a cool idea to give us a 3 3/4" Dennis figure!

Too bad it was supposed to be another exclusive. So without Corona, most collectors would've had to pay premium to all the resellers on ebay etc.

I'm afraid this artificial limitation bs will never end ever again...
