Have to get audited today for my guns. Sitting here waiting for the Police to turn up at 10.. Stupid gun laws..we have a licence , all been thru the various processes yet they feel the "need" to inspect every year and see what ya got and where it is located in your home. I'm all good, seeing i work in firearms my stuff is all checked and a-ok. It's just a pain in the @#$%.....

well i had my audit. Apart from a digit or two out ( 0 looking like a 6) and one serial number not visible enough, they were very satisfied. just have to re engrave the numbers and i'm right now. no more audits they tell me. all good (till the next time they change the laws i guess)...lol

re engrave? I have never heard of having to do this. How expensive is that? Glad it worked out, but I must say I don't mind living where I do just so I don't have to put up with that. I am all for legality, and I don't want to start a great debate, but surely making law abiding citizens jump through that kind of beuacracy must make the criminals with the illegal guns just laugh thier netherregions off!

I don't carry on my person a pistol as such only at a sporting club or property (farm). As a licenced gun shop employee i have the ok to engrave and report serial numbers if they don't correspond or are visible enough to be recorded......

And yes i'm all for responsible gun control but the laws we live by here are archaic. They need to be overhauled big time but there are too many "greenies" or anti gun bureaucrats to start with.......

yesterday I made the two hour drive to toysrus to snage a 30 dollar ATTE. My wife had time sensitive coupons she wanted to use so I "just made" myself go along. That atte was driving me crazy since Pat posted the info on it. Then, I mowed the grass. I have a bit of that to do today. I have a nephew to entertain from TN, and then it is just time to have some fun seeing the Hasbro Presentation.
