I can understand your wanting to get home Serg. I had to brave 45 mph wind gusts and what we think is over two feet of snow to make it home. Our deer camp is in the middle of what I am now calling WV Siberia. I got out just in time as they are getting ready for more snow starting tonight and it is not supposed to stop till Monday! I am headed out to MD the next couple of days too. No rest for the whitetails!

Today my wife and I had Thanksgiving dinner at our house for both her family and mine.  There were 13 people over, and I made sure everyone brought something so we didn't have to cook it all ourselves.  I made the turkey (actually, 3 boneless turkey  breasts!), mashed potatoes and rolls.  I only wish I had made one more breast, as we have almost no leftovers.  It went off well, and now we're just relaxing!

Went to Warrensburg to meet the folks for a after thanksgiving dinner at a local pub-resturant named Heroes. Had the prime rib. Thursday, I cooked the turkey and green bean cassorole with mashed potatoes. That way the wifey had a good meal to come home to after her day at work.

sounds like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Today is my rest and relaxation day. Looks like snow and ice the next couple of days so I have to come out of the woods for a day or two. Now I just have to figure out how to beat Pat in FF today!

Today... Hum, nothing... Have some phone calls with friends and that's all.

My f*****g left hand makes me suffer too much. And I'm left handed...
Medical problem, maybe more information the 31th, when I go to hospital for an exam.

But yesterday, I have work a bit on my dios  ;D (and pain is the price)

That is a bad deal. A hurting hand is no picnic for a custom guy. I hope that you get some good news about this.

Tonight was our annual Shop With A Fire Fighter event for Christmas.  Our Union gets a list of children in need from the local schools, and we take them to Wal-Mart to shop.  Wal-Mart donates $$1000 for 10 kids, so each kid gets $100 to spend.  On top of that, several firemen and other individuals such as business owners and such also sponsor a kid, and our Union picks up the rest.  They come to our station, the local Shoops restaurant owners donate the food for them, and then we pile them in fire trucks and ambulances and we head to Wal-Mart for some shopping.  All kids come with a list from their parents of clothing that they need, and then we hit the toy aisles!  Mostly, the kids are behaved and excited, as well as polite and grateful, but occasionally you get a kid who has no manners.  It happens.  All in all, it's a lot of fun, and since I'm usually a bastard coated bastard with bastard filling for the greater part of the year, I like to think this act of kindness makes up for at least a small portion of that!

LOL. I hear you and totally understand that coated filling thing Pat! Sounds like you had a good time. I haven't been doing a whole lot with my evenings other than sitting in the woods waiting on Mr. Big, but no luck. The rest is spent with a little gal and her momma. It will be nice to get a break next week and maybe I will have time to while away here!

Well the weather has been crappy but not so crappy that I couldn't work. I hit two jobs today and ended up with cold wet feet this afternoon. I don't think that the ice storm is going to hit us as forcasted so I do have a place to go tomorrow. I hit the Honey Baked ham co. on the way home and picked up a small 4lb glazed spiral cut ham for me and the wife. Part of it will go into the ham and beans that we fix tomorrow. I also stopped and got one more Christmas present for the wife. She has been a good girl this year.
That did sound like a good time there, Pat.
