Had a great afternoon today, L.E. came over and we spoke for 2 hours about Star Wars (how geeky is that, lol), also we discussed some up and coming projects we are working on and L.E. showed me a new custom he has been working on you are all in for a treat and it is apt that he is doing it, you will know what I mean when he shows it in the forums.

Well this weekend was filled full of painting.

I worked on some of the customs I mentioned in my thread, and also started redoing my real life mando costume.

I have been sick with a head cold for 3 days now, this sucks.  I have had to cancel a meeting for starting my new job in April, however luckily I have been able to move it to Monday, it's just the checks they do on you for working at a hospital standard really, I have already had the tests, today was just to turn up for the results - luckily I know everything is ok on that side, I also have to drop some forms off, and unfortunately I can't give them to Teresa to hand in, I have to do it myself.

Well I took my little gal to her first move and it was a rousing success. "How to tamer your Dragon" is a great flick, especially for a kid. She enjoyed the 3D glasses. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the twelve dollar price tag per person. Ouch! Oh, I picked up a CW Bly for the rebar dude.

Let's start with yesterday, we had 5 boys spend the night for Jaxon's 7th birthday party. They were loud and up late, then up this morning just before 7am. They all left around 11 and all had a great time. Then my wife was making a pot of tea and dumped it on her arm straight off the stove so it was still boiling when it hit her arm. She ran off to the hospital where the doctor told her he didn't think the burn was too bad and she didn't need any pain killers for it. She said OK I'll be right back with a pot of boiling water and we will see how you fell. Now we are going back out to pick up her prescription...I'll br dry brushing the rest of the day I hope.

I spent all of yesterday installing wood flooring. Not hard, but long and tedious. I hate angle cuts. I didn't get to bed till after midnight last night. trying to get caught up here a bit this morning. I have to go out and buy a new bicycle for a bday present for my gal and do lunch with grandma. Then babysitting the rest of the afternoon while mom goes to a concert. Not just my thing. I get the new Halo movie so I hope to find some time to watch that this afternoon.

I finished up a resin order today, did some laundry, and got stuff packed up for another week of down south construction.

I am now officially part of the work force again and I start on Monday, I have my orientation (sounds like I am going somewhere with a map, lol) on Monday from 8:00 to 4:00,  so it will be really exciting seeing I have been out of work so long. Then I start my training for 4-6 Weeks and I am probation for 90 days - once I get through the probation I am classed as a Hospital Worker.
