You can see what I think on the front pages.

I like it!

Thank you. I wanted a pirate throne, I thought I could kitbash something similar to the raider throne in the Battle for Endor movie, that is made entirely out of speeder bikes, but nothing I had was really coming together. Then I ordered a 3d printed boba fett throne, and just as I did I got the idea to make a crate throne.

Great idea! It totally makes sense...but keep it modular so you can repurpose them :)

Thank you. Definitely not going to do anything permanent, I need my crates.

Studson Studio is the man who presents the definition of model building from scratch with miscellaneous parts over trash to a masterpiece. Watch him turn all kinds of greebles into a complicated and colorful scale model.

I made the flying version of Howl's Moving Castle out of garbage

I suppose he worked another 50 hours creating this 40 minute video after getting done with this 100-hour-project.

I found some more crates. I saw a guy use 1/10 RC crates for the E-WEB crate. I thought it was pretty cool. I ordered a set from Amazon Help me decide on this product: HIRCQOO 1/10 RC Simulation Plastic Luggage Case Decoration Storage Compatible with Traxxas TRX-4 Tamiya CC01 Axial SCX10 D90 Redcat HSP 90046 D110 1/10 RC Crawler Truck (Black) https://amzn.to/3Ibix8O
Amazon didn't seal the mailer and shipped an empty package, but they did ship a replacement.
I painted them white. Needs another coat and some weathering. You can only fit the cannon in the long box, but its alright.

Very nice indeed! I was waiting for Tamer to modify and share this. Affiliates must be a useful tool to support the forums. So thanks to Jodo for buying those. Good to see you, again! I'm going to get some of those crates as well.

Recently, a friend made me aware of this exclusive box that came with some Topps cards of Rogue One. He once had one of those, but sold it. Now he wants it back to display next to his Black Series figures.
Found a couple within a minute for 5€ each on feebay.

Dimensions: 4.9" x 3.3" x 2.1"  or 12,5 x 8,5 x 5,5 cm

JDeck, I like 'em. 👍 I think they will work for your purposes.

Jodo, nice to "see" you again  :)

Philipp, that's a great bit of info. I didn't know those Rogue One card boxes existed.

You're very welcome Starchaser! I finally got the miniature "Huge Crab Droid" by Wizards of the Coast. What's your opinion, is it in scale to 1/18 action figures?

It really does! I'll take some accurate measurements and try to find specific reference material. But from the screenshots it looks very close.

As a follow-up to JDeck's great find: I found some crates for cheap on AliExpress. 3 different crates were 4€ shipped! Only paid 16 for all 12 and this is how they fit on the Imperial Combat Assault Tank.
Some weathering and they will look starwarsy.

Those are great!!!!

Thanks for your comment! It's always good to see you back around, Jodo! I shared some links of those crates. You can get them for about $2 each including shipping to the U.S.
