Looks like there are 5 new and 3 refreshed 3.75" scale "Kid Connection" sets coming to Walmart soon!

Some of the sets utilize Chap Mei tooling.

I know many customizers (including myself) like these sets for the vehicles/dio accessories/creatures/etc. so I figured there are probably parts of these inexpensive sets that people will want for future projects.

The dinosaur, tank and large shark sets are being refreshed with new figures (dino and tank sets), additional creatures (dino and shark sets) and more accessories (tank set). It looks like the new parts have a drawback though as the number of paint apps seem to have decreased (the great white shark seems to get the worst of it).

The 5 new sets offer some great (and not so great) new figures, accessories, creatures and vehicles.

These new and refreshed sets should start showing up any day now as Walmart usually introduces new Kid Connection sets starting in late May/early June so be ready to start your hunts!

The smaller sets like the safari sets and the small shark set are $4.92.


The larger sets like the tank, dinosaurs and the large shark set are $14.92.

The largest sets like the construction ones will probably be in the newer $19.92 pricepoint they introduced last year.

The sets are usually available on their website, but not until they have been in the brick and mortar stores for a few months.

Thanks for the word on these Dan. You really do keep us up to date on all of the other toy lines that folks can use to get good deals. These will be awesome to get and maybe convert to diorama fodder for any genre!

There is no pricing info yet, but there is a lot of plastic in this set so I am assuming that this will be one of their larger $29.99 sets

The Walmart "Kid Connection" Mega Crane Playset is out. It is part of the $14.97 playset  assortment.

The cab interior is undetailed but accepts 3.75" figures (the playset does not come with any) but the crane cockpit does not, it is a solid piece with a decal for the window. This set is still great for people that need 1/18 construction equipment.

For $19.92, you get a lot of plastic in the box. The construction workers are HUGE hulking figures with ball hinge shoulders
