Commander Vaks turned out really well! The paint applications are really excellent. Thanks for sharing the process in such detail as well. I think I might have to try this build - and with your step-by-step, I might actually be able to pull it off :)

CloneTroopr, your customs are most impressive and inspiring to me! Thanks so much for leaving a comment here! Yes, most definitely! PANDEMIC's Battlefront is my most favourite videogame of all time! I modded and play it to the most extend. Do you have any wishes/suggestions for me what to customize next? My "Battlefront Project" folder contains 41 sub-folders so far...Vaks was just the 2nd one.

No problem!

Hm...the 501st Jet Trooper was one of my favorite designs from that game. Even the generic Jedi in the Order 66 Knightfall mission in the campaign would be cool to see as figures.

Thank you very much! I'll also add pictures of all the colors I used for Commander Vaks today! Check back for those in Reply #10 on page 1.  ;) It'd be awesome to see your version of Vaks!
I'm still not quite satisfied with the armour - I need to add a brown shade to finally get it accurate.

UPDATE: I just added the picture of all Citadel paints I used for Vaks.  ;)

Thanks! These are great suggestions! I just took some more reference shots. You probably mean these here?

Would be awesome to see you customize some of them, too!

Best regards from Germany!

An outstanding custom clone trooper is finally finisehd.
Commander Vaks turned out great.
Your eye for details and colours is applaudable.
Thank you very much for the background information and the colour selection for this figure.
I'm really looking forward to see many more Battlefront Mod custom figures.
Excellent work my friend.

Yep, those are the ones. Actually I did do a custom of the 501st jet trooper some time ago.   ;D

You can read my comment on your thread! I did think of updating the visor in metallic green, too, but I didn't think of using the super-articualted TAC SL version of the 501st Clone Trooper for it. So I will use it, now. Thank you for this great advice and inspiration!
I'll also look for some fodder to realize these Jedi skins, too!

Best regards!

On the weekend I got out my custom fodder and counted the figures I'm going to customize.
I would like to share these pics with you to show you how much potential there is just for Clone and Imperial Trooper customs!

I counted and came to exact 100 figures...I wasn't aware of how many I got during the last year alone! And I'm more than thrilled to customize more!

Wow, that's a lot of fodder. And I thought I had a lot of clone parts. Definitely looking forward

ImperialOfficer: Thank you for your comment! I haven't forgotten you - I apologize for not having replied for quite a while. I'll get right back to you.

Tamer: Haha, thanks! I give my best to keep you busy here  ()rr

Here's a WIP shot from last night:

Started modifying and painting a green ARC Trooper and a Desert Combat and Survival (DCS) Specialist (completely made up). I was inspired by Commander Vaks to come up with this modified version of a Galactic Marine. Special thanks to FialaFernbrugg who sent me this hand drill! It works perfectly to modify rifles, blasters and cannons.

:o 100 figures is an impressive number. That is enough custom material for the next ten years.
I'm glad that the hand drill is quite useful. Can't wait to see many more brilliant customs and dios.

Didn't see your most recent post. I'll have to get one of those hand drills. Will probably work better than the drillbit I stuck in an exacto knife handle...

FialaFernbrugg: I agree, it's a crazy amount of figures...I wasn't even aware that I had gotten that many over the years...that's definitely enough fodder for the next decade.

ImperialOfficer: Thank you for your comment! These hand drills are more useful than I thought they would be! I can recommend them to you, too!

best regards
