Topic: Hasbro Fans' Choice 2019 The Empire Strikes Back!

Hasbro is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, happening in 2020, by giving fans the chance to help Hasbro decide which Star Wars character they would like to see added to the Black Series line… and we need your help!

We need you to vote on which Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back character you want made into a 6-inch figure. Once voting closes and we receive your top 10 picks, we will send that list to Hasbro and then they will use it and input from the other fan sites to host a final fan vote on the Hasbro Pulse Instagram the following week. When voting or submitting a character for voting (just post the character you don't see above in the reply section and I will add it, but I tried to get most) please use the following guidelines:

o   Only characters from Empire Strikes Back can be included in the poll

o   Note, the winning figure will not be a retool of a previously released figure, so cast your votes accordingly!

o   Only 1 vote can be submitted per social (forums and email) handle per day. I will reset the poll each day while active so you can vote again (easiest way to do this with the poll parameters I have here).

This Poll will close at 11:59pm EST on Thursday, 2/21. We would like to thank Hasbro for allowing us to join this awesome vote!

This is a great lineup with so many good choices! I would actually vote for General McQuarrie.
Zev Senesca isn't listed on rebelscum, though. I voted for him here because I still got hope for a Snowspeeder in 1/12 scale from Hasbro...
Many of them are no-brainers and will be released anyway like Luke (Jedi Training on Dagobah) or Lobot.

It's great to see a Fan's choice poll, again! YakFace.com listed all forums and websites participating. It's good to see ISY among them!

Nice to see Jason supporting this. I am glad we have an open submission policy too.

By the way folks, I am getting ready to zero the votes after I take a tally from  yesterday so please vote again.

Seems like most folks are voting using our Facebook Poll (once again a new poll is up so please go vote) and once again you can add your own character if you don't see one from the list of choices.

I will also update the forums poll with the new characters I saw added on Facebook last night. Not too many new additions, but a few.

Ok, think I have this as tweaked at I am going to get it. I reset the forums vote so you can vote again today please. I recorded the votes we got yesterday and will add it to our tally here (will reset the votes tomorrow too) and on our Facebook Polls.

Looking back it's funny how only the Black Series gets one after another of these characters made in 6". Hasbro could've done SO MUCH more for the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes back - especially for The Vintage Collection. With a development time of 18 months, I don't count Corona as legit excuse for this lack of product out there. It seems more likely that the new brand team just do not have a clue of what they're doing.

Yeah, I am definitely disappointed we didn't see more TESB for the 3.75" line. I hope they can get it together. ROTJ fans should probably be worried.
