Brilliant those cross-sections truly are! I got the book and have already spent hours looking at all the details! Yes, I'm most certain your take on it will be definitive!
Speaking about size and accuracy this is probably the best version we got from Hasbro. But I want them to make a new one - even bigger and more accurate - they can go ahead and launch it as the next HasLab project. I'd be in!

Very cool! I wish you good luck for the auction! I also saw the 2003 Hailfire Droid for $24.99 buy-it-now on ebay.com. This Clone Wars version and first release of the Hailfire is actually my favorite. They are all hard to find here in Germany. I own two of them: CW and TSC release. But I’ve never seen this TCW Version in the wild (online included) here. It’s a nice coincidence that I was thinking of a repaint of this Droid a day before you posted this. Can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with it. You might wanna pick up that aforementioned CW version, too. I think 25 bucks is a fair price for this rare vehicle.

Not yet. Eventually I will get it.

Eventually I want a clone medic. Just need to figure out the best figure for that role. I did manage to get the  Hailfire Droid though!

Excellent! I watched that auction and was very happy to see this morning that nobody else bid with you. Sometimes it’s odd how many people bid on one item and sometimes nobody is. 30 bucks is a good deal for this rare version of the Hailfire!
Also the Super Battle Droid is a great one - time to give him a repaint/weathering/scratching.
