So I picked up a new brush set and wanted to show off what I could do with it.

First, I fixed Ventress' eyes, eyeliner, added lipstick, etc. No more glancing upwards!

Next I dry brushed Palpatine's hologram to look more realistic!

Wow, those eyes. She looks like she is getting ready to off someone. Nice work. Like the hologram too. Off to the front pages.

If  I may ask what brush set did you get from what store?

Really nice job on the Ventress.  I'm with Chuckles, eyes are hard and you did a very nice job.  Beat me to the punch on the medic :)  He looks really good.  And I dig the repaint in the Sidious Hologram.  Great work all around.

Thank you! I'm finally learning how to get to the top of my painting game.

I picked up some very thin brushes from Hobby Lobby. Davinci, I believe?

Honestly it's more the brushes than my skill level. Lmao

Could you share the brush details? I'd love to see some pics of the brushes.

Also, do you use a magnifying glass and/or any kind of project mount, or are you holding the brush in one hand and the project in the other while painting?

I do have "helping hands" but I honestly forget to use them the majority of the time. Lol!

Here's my brushes.

Ventress looks great, RC. And good call on the new brushes. I cleaned mine the other day but they're pretty beat. Might be time for some new ones here as well.

You did! I really like the different armor, the blaster looks awesome dry-brushed and I do like the red design. The Mando emblem is top notch! Guess it's a decal, too? Fantastic work! I have to admit I also got two TLC Jangos to make Kal Skirata and Walon Vau.
So much potential in the Mandalorian! Can't wait to see the rest of the season! Finally we get some good content since 2016 again...

Mando symbol is a decal; I think this guy is my take on a Separatist-aligned mando.

I like your Mando mercenary. The weathering looks great.
Can't wait to see the finished Hutt.
