Thank you once again, Tamer! And by the way a also spelled it wrong until I saw the entry on Wookieepedia...I also spelled it "Neimodian" before so no worries. I'll add to this thread, soon.

Until then you can check out how I completed a Neimoidian Commander using this pressing technique here:

The more I practice the better the results. I can encourage you all to try this yourselves!

Very nice! These are looking really great. I'll have to try it. Especially accessories or even greebles for modeling. I have some cool aircraft parts that I'd like to reproduce without buying a whole nother kit.

JDeck: Thanks for commenting! Have you tried casting some of the aircraft parts, yet? For re-casting model kits I can recommend to you to use resin instead of putty like milliput. Here's an example of a part that I made last night. The silicone mold wasn't the best I made, I was tired, but I really needed to make this part for a customer. Here's the result and I might give it another try with resin:

Tamer: Thanks for the flowers! It was really fun repainting that Neimoidian Commander and Grievous. I was actually quite satisfied with the results of the casts.

MandoMuggle: Thank you. I came up with the idea a while ago when my brother asked me if I could reproduce some LEGO accessories for him. Didn't work too well though haha
Thanks for commenting!

Thanks Tamer! I learned quite a bit during my 3-year-apprenticeship to become a dental technician. I worked with resin in the lab almost on a daily basis.

Thank you for checking out this topic. And sorry for my late reply. It's been another busy year so far. The antenna was probably my worst casting so far, but the customer was still happy with it. I shared this to show that replacements can be easily made at home. I'm in a phase between casting and 3D printing at the moment. Exciting time for sure!

Summer is my favorite season of the year. However every season offers excellent opportunities and activities. This Fall has been very mild so far! If you made a video and played it reversely, the leaves would go up and make it feel like Spring.

I'm also looking forward to the Holiday season. So many projects I cannot wait to get back to. I made a new mold this week for a custom TCW 501st Legion Trooper. And I achieved some decent results even without pressure pot, which my dad borrowed from me. I'm always impressed by the level of detail the silicone captures!

The first custom popped right onto the neck-joint and I cannot wait to paint this one up!
