Nice to get outside period. These look like they are on Endor.

Yay...Outdoor pictures! The Ewoks feel like they fit in the tall grass - could be hunting Verkles or Borras.

Hadn't previously posted this kitbash henchman, and the new door looks pretty great too.

Yes, that new door does look pretty great! Kudos on that. I like the combination of parts on your Nikto henchman too. Nice work.

Knocked out another fan-fic henchman (guard, pirate, assassin, bounty hunter, or something).

If I remember correctly here's a parts list; Hoth Rebel Trooper legs, Boba Fett upper arms, Imp Scanning tech lower arms, AT-AT driver hands, Farmboy Luke skirt and belt, Bespin guard holster, Skiff Lando chest, pretty sure the head is from one of Thor's friends, and I don't remember where the glasses came from.

When I was a kid I thought Prune Face was one of Jabba's guys. It wasn't until the early 90s when my brother noticed him at the rebel briefing scene.
So I made this fan-fic henchman guy to be that lost idea of a Prune Face guard.

Vedain torso and legs, orrimaarko head and hands, pretty sure rebel commando arms, and Marauder pouches. I pulled off Vedain's backpack and filled the hole with milliput (sculpted to finish the armor in the back where the hole was). And paint.
I really like this one.

Tutorial tip time.
For those of you thinking it would be cool to make your own lightsabers Fluorescent Acrylic Rod is the product you are looking for. I've made several lightsabers using acrylic rod found at a local hobby shop in the scratch-building area (near the styrene sheets), but obviously these are online too (links below).
You can see in the picture that mine are 1/8th inch "tall" (that's how they measure the rod's thickness). This is the perfect size for 3.75 scale lightsabers. (Go measure one of your 3.75 figure lightsabers for comparison.)
Obviously these rods come in other sizes and maybe one of those sizes would work for 6" scale figures, but I've never tried because I don't collect 6".
These rods can also be found in clear, which could work with dye or translucent paint to give you other color options, but I've never tried that.

Here are links to 3 colors of 1/8th Fluorescent Acrylic Rod:

Thanks for the links to the rods - that's a great resource! I really like the human (I think you're right about it being Thor's friend, Hogun) guy - he looks great! The Dresselian works really well too.

Mail call! (Really it's a behind-the-scenes custom-figure update.)

I found a good deal for a lot in a FB group. Yeah, I already have all of these, but I definitely needed some new custom fodder! More murder-bears coming soon! My goal is a new custom Ewok once a week for the next few weeks!

Oh man, I'm pretty excited about this! I'm going to more than double the size of my little custom tribe!
