Too fun! The weathering on this guy is great and I love the head - where'd it come from? I can totally see this guys being one of Airen Cracken's agents.

The Star Wars version of Oscar the Grouch. 😉

I don't think the character was used. But I'm pretty sure the production art by Jake Lunt Davies was intended for Canto Bight (pic 5).
I got this 3d printed head from Redflare Models and made the body from whatever junk I had laying around.

Very neat take. Reminds me of a hermit crab when they take random objects as a "shell." Great paint apps working here. You nailed the fleshy alien squid colors.

This little guy is very cool! Kind of reminds me of Krang (TMNT), nice work!

I was just looking at Redflare's site and saw that sculpt. I really like the "pod" for it to sit in...that looks really good. Paint job is outstanding, as per usual.

Well done.  I am not familiar with the sketch art from last Jedi.  However. The figure is also quite reminiscent of a waiter from the Han Solo Recenge novel by Brian Daley.   In that story the alien waiter is a Sleji and has a hard time distinguishing non-sleji from one another.

Great paint job. I read your recipe and am ordering one myself. Big thanks.  What size do you recommend 3.75 or 1/12.  I ask because some alien sculpts  seem to small and the larger size works well on occasion but with the traditional 3.75.

Thanks. I only ever do 3.75 customs. The comparison shot includes a 3.75 Rodian.

Who remembers Morley from The Clone Wars cartoon? No articulation, but I love it anyway!

Nice! I like that you painted him in orange, not black or gray. I don't think he really wants to be that close to Savage tho'   ;)

Yep, love the color. Off to share and give a shout out to Chad. He has really taken his 3D Design skills to a new level.

Thanks!

This isn't perfect, but it's SO much better than the Hasbro helmet.

(It's the Ax Woves figure with a repainted Mandalorian Death Watch helmet.)

That does look a whole lot better. Mine has a five-head. They need to figure out if they want to do interchangeable heads or removable helmets. If  I preorder expecting an interchangeable head and get a gummy bear helmet. It sucks especially the overpriced boba fett exclusives, they should be interchangeable heads with moving rangefinder.
