Got a pack of repainted fur balls from another customier, but they don't looks as nice as your latest one. I really like the dry-brush finish on his fur! Accessories and paintjob look stellar - as always ;)

I like that skull on top of his spear. Pretty awesome. Can't you just see a tribe of Ewoks taking on a Predator with rudimentary traps!

Off to the front pages.

I would love to read a SW Novel where a predator shows up in our SW Verse and starts wreaking havoc.

Love the Ewok hunter hunter. Well, all of your Ewoks. You must by now have the most extensive collection of murder bears in the galaxy, and it continues to grow!

While painting the new ewok I also dirtied up some shoretroopers to serve as a light recon section in my dirty-trooper platoon. (I may also do one more with some armor-color to be their leader...)

And this is an update to an older Mandalorian custom. While working on the Mandalorian inspired weathered-looking Imperial remnant platoon, and thinking a little about old-west Indian scouts, and got to thinking maybe this remnant platoon hired a local scout to guide them.
Plus, it's just fun painting these all dirty.  :)

Old customs, new pics. These are a couple of my oldest custom figures.
First, the tall guy; the chest, arms, crotch, and legs are from the Skiff Guards Cinema Scene Nikto figure (POTF 1999), the hands are from Ketwol (POTF 2001), the skirt is from General Madine (OTC 2004), the head is from Nikto (Jedi Knight) (Saga 2002), and the shoulder-wrap is from a Dirk Pitt figure from the 2005 Sahara movie (21st Century Toys).
Second, shorty's head is Weequay (POTF 1999) (I cut off the braids, and used sculpey to make a head-wrap), the chest, arms, and hands are from Skiff Lando (Saga 2004), the lower body is from one of the Ugnaughts (POTF 1998), with a sculpey belt, and I'm pretty sure the holster was cut off a Skiff Lando belt.
I made these in 2004-2005, but updated some worn paint, and added a couple pouches to the tall guy's belt last year.

That Mandalorian Scout is great.  I like the background comparison to Native American scouts.  Very cool.

Finished a new custom Ishi skiff guard.
Ishi Tib head (had to rebuild the neck ball-joint), Klaatu body, some paint and wash. I know the Ishi aliens have claw-hands, but this was easier, kept wrist-articulation, and looks cool to me.
Oh, and I swapped the belt for a Jedi Luke belt.

And hey, if anyone is interested, here's a shot showing the rebuilt neck ball joint (don't remember where the donor-ball came from), and the dremeled head.

The weathering on these is top notch. What kind of paint washes do you use? Citadel nurn oil?

For paint work I have a lot of MSP Master Series Paints from Reaper Miniatures, but mostly I have those because I bought a bulk lot from a local D&D guy a couple years ago. When buying new I lean towards Vallejo and Army Painter series paints.
For this figure I mostly used a wash. This one, and it is available on Amazon.

Nice Skiff Guard. Time to take that one to the front pages.
