Getting Sarah Connor vibes where she infiltrates Cobra to take down the next Skynet project being developed by Destro!

Cool custom!

My first thought when seeing it was Ferro from Aliens, the drop ship pilot.  I know that's from the aviator glasses.  Really nice work, she looks like she could kick a lot of ass.

I can totally see the Sarah Connor angle, I also thought of Lt. Starbuck. Anyway, great character design!

I'm going to post a few older Joes. Here's my version of Spirit. Mostly Joe parts, with a Marauder vest.

And her'e my Roadblock. Again, mostly Joe parts, with some Marauder accessories.

Shooter was a quick black paint job (why was she blue?), and some Marauder gear.

Kit bash Joe parts, and some paint for Flint.

And Beachhead. Repainted the upper body a darker green, added to the leg-camo, rebuilt the vest to include the "beachhead" ammo pouches, added a few more details to the vest, and swapped out the gear on his legs. The grenade pouches on his back are from an older BBI figure.

Man, these are great. I think I like Spirit the best, but very nice.

I totally agree with Tamer. These figures look great, but I really like Spirit, especially with the kukri.

I knocked out a couple more team guys. This first one was done a few weeks ago, just never got around to posting. I think all of the extra (non-Marauder) pouches and the chest-mounted radio are BBI.

And this guy I did last night and this morning. I've had these parts sitting around for awhile, but if I'm going to airbrush some primer on a project I try to make it 3 or 4 projects at once. It saves airbrush cleaning time.
It's mostly a Marauder Contract Ops figure, with a Marauder WWII head, a Marauder vest that has been altered to mount the kit from a BBI Elite Forces (Patriot) figure.
I cut the molle off the front of the Marauder vest with an xacto knife (I always save the cut molle in case I need to cover a gear-hole on a Marauder vest), and glued on the dremeled-to-fit BBI plate carrier piece. And added some pouches from my pouches-bin to the back of the vest.
Once it was primed I got excited about the project again, and knocked out some color painting.

I like these Mercs. They look tough.

Off to the front pages.

Did you watch Extraction on Netflix? I could see you making a ton of customs like this for that movie. I liked it a lot.

Watched it last weekend. Really cool movie. And yeah; probably why I was feeling the need to do some tactical custom work. I noticed Spartan 118 Industries (Facebook customizer who sells casts) is making Tyler Rake heads. I may try to get one...
