The new "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" toys are supposed to hit on January 1st, but are popping up at Walmarts across the south already.

I like this one. Depending on how it looks in person, I may grab it.

For the $24.99 price, they are excellent.

There are some downsides, like Godzilla's clear pink backplate, and the fact that there is a gap in the back plates where the tail attaches to the body, but those are minor quibbles.

Playmates upcoming 3.5" "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" figures!

Only these 2 revealed so far, but I expect Kong and Skar King to be released as well.

I expect these to show up at Five Below like the 3.5" figures for the last film did.

Hopefully these get released in America as most retailers are reducing the shelfspace for this line.

The new Playmates "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" 13" "Mega Heat Ray Godzilla" is out at Target ($34.99+tax)!

You can see how much more massive it is than the 11" "Giant Godzilla" figure. There are some downsides to this larger figure that made me pass on it: the activation button sticks out above the figure's hide, and the inside of the mouth is not detailed to make room for the spray nozzle for the misting breath weapon and the light bulb that illuminates the breath and eyes. I may still grab one when they get clearanced and sculpt a new interior for the mouth and see about leveling the button to the rest of the hide.
