¡Hola amigos!

I’m on Gran Canaria with my family at the moment. Just came back from my first hunt in a mall here in the south of the Island.

Sales Tax is only 6% here. American fellows should be familiar with that. In Germany it’s 19%.

Here’s what I found on pegs at Nikki Juguerteria (toys):

TVC figures were reduced to 12.95€ instead of 14.95€. In Germany they’re 17.99€ at SmythsToys.

They also had 3 Roses one of her sister and Qi’ra for 9.95€ each. All reduced...

Some LEGO sets. LEGO & playmobil are generally more expensive here than in Spain and the rest of Europe because of the extra import to the Canary Islands.

Toys “R” Us is still here - who know who owns it now. But the smell inside is still the same. Smells like childhood...

Toys “R” Us had hardly any Star Wars Action Toys here - no TVC, no TBS...but they still had the LEGO Harry Potter advent calendar that is long sold out in Germany...happy July everyone!

100 yards away from Toys “R” Us in the same mall was another Nikki toy store. Right opposite of TRU was another very small toy shop with mostly supplies for babies.

It is a very nice and clean mall.

More Star Wars stuff here than at TRU, but still less than in the first Nikki store...

No TBS Cara Dune here - which makes me even happier that I left the other one in the first store for another fan to pick up.

Some Hot Wheels and stuff


The JW Mosasaurus was reduced to 31.95€ and is sold out in Germany.
Still I didn’t buy anything...the experience to enter a TRU once again and the pictures alone were worth the trip of about 120 kilometers back and forth...gas is 95 Cents per liter here by the way!
