What a cool custom. I didn't even know it got painted black. I remember Chewie dieing in the Vong Series, but I need to go back and re read some of that.

Just a great ship. It doesnt surprise me it sold quickly.

I only just recently found that out too   ..was wondering what the deal was with these black lego falcons and stumbled across this

When Chewie died in the Expanded Universe, Han painted the Falcon black for a time. Because, you know, he wore black on the outside because black is how he felt on the inside.

Sure, Han claimed it was for reasons unrelated to his pal’s death… But come on. We all know Han was never able to fully express his emotions.

You are really knocking these out of the park! I love the details on the Legacy Falcon. Its the first time I've seen a Millennium Falcon in mourning custom - it's great (hated the story-line, but the black Falcon is a keeper).
