I am really surprised that we did not have a thread for this long lived line already.

"Masters Of The Universe: Micro Collection" figures are showing up at Dollar Tree.

Orko is basically 3.75" scale for anyone interested.

If anyone missed out on this "Masters Of The WWE Universe" set, it is now showing up at Big Lots for $25.00.

I seriously considered getting the new He-Man stuff. It looked so like it did back in the day, but space and money deterred me. Kinda regretting it though.

Thanks for the info. I put the MOTU themed sightings on the front page.

I saw the new Castle GraySkull playset at a local Walmart for something like $75.00 - I almost bought even though I don't collect He-Man or 6" figures  ;D

When I saw He-Man and Battle Cat in what looked to be the same exact packaging I got as a kid I almost filled the cart. I stayed in the toy aisle for quite a few minutes that day. So, I can associate.

As someone whom sold all my vintage he-man figures (not the other stuff like rides & castle grey skull) years ago for $40 I'm hardly regretting it. These new "retro" figures are amazing though. Its like they took everything wrong with the original line but both improved & made it better. The characters actually look like the cartoon, are super articulated and not to mention CUSTOMIZABLE with all the parts interchangeable!

The only reason I've not sunk deep into the line is space / extra cash. Because this line... Unlike Hasbro offerings is wayyyy more reasonable in price. So I've only: He-man, skeletor, prince Adam/sled & cringer... Right now  but would welcome the rest especially of the first 14 so characters out (except that she-Ra since it looks.... Not for me).

If I can ever get my extra stuff sold I might pursue this line a bit. Of course getting back my space only to fill it with more stuff seems like I might have a problem? LOL, I am way past that.

If you're looking for a source of accessories and fodder for your MotU figures, I can recommend sinposa on ebay to you:

I really enjoyed the new Revelations He Man that just aired on Netflix. I am so tempted to start collecting this line. I know I shouldn't though.

I saw this new Mattel "He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe" (Netflix) set with the Sorceress and the Cosmic Falcon (Zoar). If the falcon was less cartoony, I might have picked this set up. There is a very odd design for the Sorceress figure, in the cartoon, she is a teenager (maybe 16 or 17) and built accordingly (long, slimmer torso and limbs), but the figure is built much more like a much younger tween or teen that still has her "puppy fat", making her look almost nothing like her animation model.

It is nice to see an actual playset on the shelves again! Most toylines either shy away from playsets or offer some lame approximation of one.

This was spotted at Target in Fairfield and retails for $99.99+tax.

So cool to be a kid nowadays. I so wish I had gotten a Castle like this when I was a kid. I had a lot of He Man AFs, but alas it was too steep. Cool stuff.

Off to the front pages Dan. Thanks for making us aware of it.
